This place was so beautiful, spacious, private, and luxurious. We had a suite with a king bed and two singles, an adjoining room with kitchenette, full bathroom and walk out terrace overlooking the sea. The tile floors were clean and cool. The entry to the building is gorgeous, with large oak doors, stone and wood hallway and accent lighting. It was quite, and we slept to the sound of cool breezes and ocean surf. The staff was very kind, easy to contact, and very welcoming and gracious. Breakfast downstairs each morning, prepared personally by Teresa, who had the charm of a movie star.

This place is perfect as is. But if you are looking for suggestions, personally, I would like to have some basic equipment for exercise or stretching. That would be nice. The other strange thing for us, at the time of year we visited (early April 2025), all the attractions on the coast were closed. We enjoyed our stay, but the thermal spring facility nearby was closed, and the beaches were cold and rocky. It felt just a little lonely.

Gaetano and Salvatore were the nicest people there could ever be! It was such an amazing experience. The place is more than 200 years old, and yet the interiors mix perfectly ancient structures with modern facilities. The view was also breathtaking, and so was breakfast. Would definitely recommend it and come back!

Everything was perfect. We arrived late but it wasnt a problem at all. Everyone was extremelly friendly, we got lots of tips of what places we should visit. And Tereza, the lady who is making breakfast and cleaning was simply amazing. We felt welcomed and we enjoyed our stay. I strongly recomend this place and should we go back to Calabria, we will definitely stay at Antico Casale.

Breakfast was great but we would have preferred more savoury options as we come from Australia and not used to sweet breakfasts. (but it's not a complaint, just some feedback)

Breakfast was excellent! So much to choose from! The owners/staff were so welcoming. We felt very at ease and comfortable. The rooms were very accommodating, clean, large and well appointed.

We were very impressed. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff and owners have been extremely friendly and helpful during our stay by supporting us with the native language, offering information about the city and even making adjustments to the breakfast to fit our needs. The rooms are cleaned everyday, and the B&B premises are even more lovely than the pictures convey.

We liked absolutely everything about the property. A small recommendation is coming by car.

The father and son met us past check in time and were so accomodating. A truly great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone...oh yes, and the breakfast was A+

The room and the terrace were exceptional ample and comfortable. The place has a lot of green areas and the hosts are very nice.

Recently refurbished. private secure parking. good and copious breakfast. very friendly owners (father and son).

the wifi is very bad, when available it’s very slow and inconsistently available. incompatible with work.

salvatore and his wife patricia were very lovely and went above and beyond to meet our needs.
