We paid for the wine tasting which we enjoyed, they are clearly passionate about their wines. The pool is a really good size and great after a day of local sightseeing in Erice, Marsala and Trapani. The view of the islands from the pool and watching the sun go down. The food was reasonably priced and all locally sourced served with their own wines, we ate outside being July, in the large courtyard. The extension for the area showcasing the wine is clever and modern.

We had a lovely stay, and it was reasonably priced, it is long drive from anywhere else if you wanted to eat out somewhere different, it is a mix of modern, tasteful and slightly frumpy Italian.

I spent a wonderful weekend of total relaxation at this property, surrounded by vineyards, enjoying excellent wine and genuine, authentic food. The estate’s owners manage to give the experience something truly unique — it feels like being in an old Sicilian farmhouse, with sweets made by grandma, amid the sound of the sea and the rustling vines in the wind. The guided tour of the Ansaldi cellars was the cherry on top. Friendly, smiling staff. Giacomo and Paolo (the owners) are attentive, warm, and full of passion and love for their work. A dream experience!

We arrived quite late in the evening and this incredible place standing in the middle of a wine yard really looked like a vision from a fairy tale! The hospitality was genuine and warm. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was really nice after a whole day spent in sightseeing. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was actually huge. The common areas, lightened up at night, were so enchanting! Both the famous salt flats and the Florio/Donna Fugata canteens of Marsala are some 15 minutes away by car. Last but not least, there’s a little shop when you can buy - among other things - an excellent bio marmalade of lemon! Definitely a recommended place to stay!

Wow what a lovely place to stay. From the drive up to the resort to the time we drove away everything was amazing. What a beautiful place. Pool was stunning with a view out to Marsala which is a twenty minute drive and worth the effort. Rooms were comfortable and ours had a sea view over the vines. Restaurant was nice place for dinner and breakfast was good especially the eggs. Wines were excellent and relatively cheap. Loved our stay here.

Would have liked kettle but a lot of places I’ve stayed in Italy don’t appear to supply them.

On the day I left at 5 a.m., the reception was closed. I was desperate because my husband's passport had been left at the reception desk. As soon as the receptionist arrived, she reached out to me and offered to send it. When the passport arrived, I was so relieved and happy. I am deeply grateful for all the care and effort she put into helping us.

I didn’t know that the reception had kept my husband’s passport. If I had been informed that it was there, I would have picked it up before leaving. I only realized it was missing on the way to the airport, when I noticed the passport wasn’t with us.

Location is so quiet and right in the middle of a special vineyard. The food is lovely! It is also very reasonably priced considering it’s all locally sourced. The wine tour was so interesting and great value for money, what a lovely place all round! Entire property was spotlessly clean, all staff were lovely and were able to deal with our terrible attempts at speaking Italian. We will be back, definitely!

Laundry option was handy but perhaps a bit pricey, but I know the water shortage may have something to do with this. Very much a “nothing” problem though, the stay was perfect!

The property and staff were so lovely - when you arrive at the establishment you simply fall in love and just feel like you are in a winery dream. Staff are so kind and go out there way to make you feel at home: the wine is incredible. Close to other wineries. Try Fabio Ferracane winery near by which is an organic old school way of making wine .

Supper at the venue is very limited and super slow. One waiter and if it’s full you may wait rather long :

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The surroundings were breathtaking, offering a peaceful and unique atmosphere that made my stay truly special. The staff were exceptionally friendly, providing warm and attentive service throughout my visit. The quality of the food was amazing, exceeding all expectations. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with outstanding service and delicious cuisine, this hotel is a perfect choice. Wine was exceptional too!! I'll be back. Loved staying in the beautifully restored Baglio, set in the vineyards with gorgeous views of the salt plains, Erice and original Marsala wine founders homes. Having a wine tasting and tour was super interesting and exceptional value - we opted for ‘sunset tour’

I loved it. My suggestions would have just been “even better if”…a more powerful hairdryer, some candles for the bedroom or soft lighting. And the waiting team seemed a little stressed and service was ‘functional’. All that being said the food was delicious!

The whole experience was excellent. We were shown around by Manuela. A fantastic host who had an excellent knowledge of the production of the wine. Briefly met the owners Giacomo & Paolo. A lovely couple who have the winery looking superb. The food in the evening was amazing. (obviously accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine) There was a pool where we relaxed and cooled off with some local beers. All in all a very worthwhile visit. Thank you Manuela, Giocomo & Paolo for making our visit something to remember. ❤🍷
