A well kept property in a lovely setting / garden with a grand appearance! Even though the property seems to be a little older, they do a good job of keeping it up. Somehow, we got more of a vibe of being in the South of France than Sicily, but in a good way. The pool area is very nicely laid out and no problem with sun-bed availability. The staff are all very friendly and keen to make one feel very welcome! It is a good base for discovering this part of Sicily and fairly near to Erice, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo etc.

The air-conditioning in our room just did not work properly, even after raising this twice with reception, the maintenance staff did not manage to find a solution or offered a different room. Air con is not normally important to us, but as it’s was August and hence the hottest time of the year, it made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep. Same applies to the air con at the gym - not working. The private beach, even though a lovely little bay, is not really ideal for swimming, more a place for a little splash!

The hotel was very clean with a lovely pool area and gardens. The staff were friendly and pleasant always happy to help especially the reception staff. Spa facilities are exceptional with complimentary daily access, including good quality treatments.

We received a WhatsApp message prior to our stay asking if we would like to make dinner reservations in advance. We thought this was a nice touch and agreed to make reservations for the three nights during our stay. However when we arrived for dinner in our first night the female maitre’d made us feel uncomfortable informing us that there was no reservation made, but it was ok as there were ‘slots available’. I felt that she did not believe us and felt that I needed to prove we had requested the reservation and showed her the WhatsApp conversation. Sadly because of how we felt we cancelled our next evenings reservation, choosing to dine in the nearby town instead.

A fantastic stay at this phenomenal hotel! The hotel is so well maintained with a beautiful pool area and restaurant for lunch. The private beach you may visit is fantastic, a private location with a small bar to cater for your needs during the day. The SPA is a top ranging facility with an impressive option of baths, saunas and large indoor swimming pool. What really stood out was the incredible staff! Everyone are so helpful and kind and really do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable! We got excellent service from all staff but wish to mention Tony and Maria at the front desk that approached every question and request with excellent service! I can’t wait to return in 2026 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The property generally is top class. Super clean and staff are really friendly. the spa is amazing.

The outdoor pool needs to be heated! It was colder than the sea water !! It was just super super cold water. given that it’s an amazing pool but has very low usage, I would’ve thought management would pick up on that and understand and realise why it wasn’t being used properly. the indoor pool was heated but on a warm day you do want to stay outdoors and enjoy the sun but you also don’t want to freeze in the pool water. I also think that they need to introduce some more vegetarian dishes into the menu for dinner and for lunch. And given that it’s a five star resort it would be handy to have a kids menu.

A well-decorated, renovated and stylish hotel set in endless gardens in an old country style villa. You can be sure that the staff will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable! They are all very warm and friendly! The hotel does not have a direct beach but that is absolutely no problem! They have a shuttle to the beach and the private beach is a great place! Emanuel is working very hard to make it beautiful! The spa area is completely new and very big! You will be pleased with the amazing care of the spa manager - you should try the massages! The outdoor pool is also big and spacious! We would like to thank everyone who made us feel at home during our stay (reception, room service, pool bar, lobby bar and bell boys).

The restaurant service is incredibly slow! Generally the waiters are running around like bees but the chefs don't do much - just welcome and what do you want to drink! This was a bit annoying! also in a long stay hotel we expect the restaurant menu to change even if it is a daily main course but the same menu was served every day! At then end staff was very friendly and did all they can!

The entire staff was super friendly and highly professional at all times. The wonderful spa featured an array of amenities, including an indoor pool, sauna, trepidarium, and more, all of which we enjoyed to the fullest. The outdoor pool area (with its pool bar) was really cool. The hotel's architecture and the gardens were elegant and beautiful.

While the daily breakfast was enjoyable, it could have benefited from more variety. The private beach, unfortunately, did not meet 5-star expectations, being somewhat small, distant from other facilities, and affected by algae. The restaurant experience was decent: the staff were very professional, but the food itself was only average, especially considering the pricing. The hotel’s focus on sustainability is commendable, but small plastic bottles were still being used for daily toiletries.

The booking process was a major faff. Booked with booking.com but instead of taking payment it sent various messages in the days following that contained a link that didn’t work with internet explorer….. almost gave up as was so needy and unnecessary. Ended up emailing asking fir a link I could use. Then got to the hotel and they weren’t aware I’d paid so what was the point? All very long winded and unnecessary and would have put lots of people off

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The SPA facilities are amazing, and the pool area is stunning. I loved that there was access to a private beach — such a great touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The rooms are renovated, spacious, and very comfortable. The manager’s attention to detail really makes you feel special throughout your stay.

Lovely property - well looked after. Rooms are lovely and large. Spa is fantastic (they don’t make enough of this - simply incredible and free for hotel guests). Great pool with bar. Staff are exceptional - can’t recommend them highly enough for helpfulness and attentiveness.

Dinner leaves much to be desired. Trying too hard, not particularly good and expensive.
