Really perfect, very modern and clean. Facilities and ammenities fully and absolutely intact. We were there during the Ferragosto while the Vara was going on, where the starting place is practically right next to the hotel at Piazza Castronovo. The host warned us about possible traffic problems before arrival so we could time it properly and get through everything before the festivities started. Parking is securely behind the building with private access. For that price, I would come here again without a doubt if I am in Messina again. Even for a higher price tbh...

Perfect location to reach the boarding of the ferries to Villa San Giovanni: five minutes walk, maybe less if you walk fast. My room was astonishing both for the size and for the cleanliness. The air conditioner was very efficient and very silent too. Excellent breakfast served 10 minutes earlier than scheduled to facilitate my travel. Personnel extremely kind and welcoming.

The windows frame should be renewed to be beautiful and modern like the furniture: they are very old! Anyway, they work.

Exceptional room. Modern and spotless. Great instruction for self service entry and great communication overall. The hotel is not in the tourist center of town, and not near the ferry part of the port. Instead it is in the town itself. An 8 minute ride by car to the port. We actually walked which took 40 minutes. A cab would be much quicker if you are not a walker. We are and we enjoyed the scenery. Breakfast was wonderful. Great coffee, and an assortment of cakes, fruit, yogurts and cereals. Suited us perfectly.

I wanted something close to the ferry to end the day of traveling to Sicily by train. Principessa Mafalda was two blocks away. The building was clean and modern with an elevator. The room was large and nicely renovated. The best part of the whole stay however was the proprietor, Giovanni. He helped me prior to my arrival with choices and options on how to reach Messina. Upon arrival he answered all our questions and directed us to a wonderful restaurant. He is a shining example of sicilian hospitality. The property is an excellent value. I look forward to staying with Giovanni again

We were pleasntaly suprised by the luxury of the rooms. Giovani greeted us with a big smile and was extremely pleasant. Room facilities were very clean and modern. Parking was free and in private lot on property. Location is very near the ferry port which is convenient for anyone leaving or arriving by ferry. Breakfast was a typical breakfast.

The neighborhood wasn't very good. No good dining that was walking distance. We ate at a pizza place that was walking distance but food was not good.

The room was wonderful, everything modernized. A/C worked great, amazing shower with different jets coming from every which way, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, soft towels, fast internet, lots of wall plugs. Really nothing to complain about the room. I came in the off-season and ended up being the only one there so breakfast to myself which was amazing! Also the reception staff were very kind and helpful, plus he spoke a bit of English!

Was a struggle initially getting into the unit, but that was in part by being a last minute booking in the off-season.

Incredible stay! Giovanni and Paola were so nice and helpful! We arrived 4 hours earlier for check- in but the rooms were ready for us. Very comfortable and spacious. Superb breakfast. Clean and sunny.

They were absolutly very kind, everything went smoothly. Giovanni is very amazing kind , he prepared a small bag with foods for my kids and a battle of cold water on the day of checkout and travel home. The apartman is very big, comfortable.

There is no kitchen in the apartman, for longer stay the frigider is not enough

An excellent hotel, with large, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Very good breakfast and lovely, helpful staff. Very handy for the ferry terminal.
