The location was excellent, right down town and with beautiful close up views of the mountains. We had a third floor room with a small balcony that was accessable through a window-door and looked right at the monumental mountain. I loved sitting out there to read or write. The owner - who seemed to be there 24 / 7 - was extremely nice, knowlegable about the area and accommodating. The hotel also has a restaurant - and, even though we usually try to avoid hotel restaurants - we ate there twice. One time a local pasta with Steinpilze (an excellent mushroom which the owners wife picked in the local mountain forrests), the second time a perfetly prepared steak, also topped with mushrooms. The hotel is old, but very clean and the location perfect. Even though we go to Mezzocorona several times a year, this was our first stay there ... from now on though, it will be our `home away from home` in Mezzocorona.

I missed a king or queen mattress instead of the European style bed with 2 separate mattresses ... but - that is Italy ... and it was the same in every other place we have stayed in Mezzocorona.

Good view on mountains, tasty breakfast.

Walls were thin and not soundproofed. Another guest in next room was snoring very loud and made it difficult to fall asleep.

Very kind staff. We thank them for welcoming us with our dogs. The location, even if it is old, is clean and well maintained and a magnificent view.

The location was perfect so close to the train station, but you don't hear the trains. The views from our window of the mountains was great. The pizza shop over the road does amazing pizzas. Very clean room The coffee they serve in their cafe was gorgeous and only €1.50 for a cappuccino

It wasn't that I didn't like it, but think they should put the menu for the restaurant in your room. The food was really cheap and we only saw it on our last day

Very comfortable room. Exactly what we needed first the night. Excellent location in town close to everything. Very nice staff. Breakfast was fantastic!! Highly recommend

We involuntarily had to stop on our way to Tuscany and found this hotel last minute on Booking. It was good value for money, the town was quite pretty surrounded by vineyards and right next to the mountains. We found a local pizzaria nearby and slept well in the bed. In the morning we realised that we actually had a room with a spectacular view facing the mountains. Overall, ths was a very good pick for a one night stop!

Location, breakfast, cleanliness, shower, plenty of hot water.
