Very friendly family-run hotel, impeccable room - recently renovated and extremely clean. Quiet at night. Simple facilities but has everything needed. Free parking behind the house. Good breakfast. Bar open till 21:30. Perfect for an overnight stay when going Brenner up or down. Great money for value - the region's hotels are pricey.

Being close to the motorway is the best part of the location. Otherwise, expect to drive for sights or food: It's a sleepy town with mostly wine growers. But we knew this before! Common areas are a bit dated, though well maintained and clean. No elevator (but apparently more renovations are planned soon).

We chose the hotel for its proximity to the highway as a breakpoint on our travel. We like its own parking space, which is isolated from the main road. The romm has everything we needed for an overnight stay and compared to the building it is very modern. There is no minibar in the room, which should be taken in account in case someone needed it to cool some drinks or food. We liked the spacious shower. The bed was a little bit soft for us, but it is subjective. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, everything was fresh and we had enough of everything. Capuccino was very good and the apples were great. Check-in and out were easy and fast. We will definitely come again when travelling to the South. The rooms are in the upper floor with no elevator - not a problem for us, though. There is a bwautiful view to the surrounding mountains from the balcony. WiFi was OK for normal browsing.

Easy stop, friendly reception and service. Everything made simple and very homestyle. Parking on site. Older property but very clean, comfortable and excellent hospitality. Homestyle meal was an unexpected bonus. Close to vineyards and great cable car, scenic skywalk and suspension bridge recommended by hotel personnel who had great knowledge of area. Brilliant outdoor experience for the teens we had with us.

Room was spacious and very clean. Very typical of an old fashion rooming house above a cafe. Personnel were very friendly and plenty of parking on premises.

Everyone should know there is no elevator so with rooms 2 floors up walking and getting luggage might present a problem for some otherwise nothing negative to say

Fantastic location just off the main motorway, near the river and overlooked by beautiful mountains. Room was spacious. The rainfall shower was great and the shower gel smelt lovely (made with olive oil I think).The owner was friendly and the lady serving breakfast was nice too.

We had a very positive experience at Hotel Cantaleone. The owner was genuinely warm and helpful, making the stay feel personal. The room was as described, and the breakfast was generous and fresh. The surrounding area is also worth exploring. We will definitely consider returning.

Very near the highway, Nice and clean hotel, very nice owner. Breakfast was okay. People who give this hotel a bad review are maybe used to 5 star hotels…. We went for a pizza to the restaurant opposite the hotel and we were pleasently surprised. All and all, exelent places to stay for the night and eat a nice meal

Rooms were clean and the staff very pleasant, as we have take bikes with us we were allowed to park them in a lockable garage overnight. The room had just been refurbished by the looks of them.

One thing that I would comment on was the breakfast which was not the best we have had on our travels over the years. Although the rooms had been refurbished there were no smoke alarms fitted, although looking at the ceiling the wireing was there.

We stay here regularly when we travel back from Italy. Each year there is some improvement at this place, so we will definitely come back again. The rooms are nice and modern, perfectly clean. There is a good parking space, which we appreciate a lot. Breakfast was very good.

Everything was perfect. The room was very attractive and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic. There was even a delightful balcony too. I’m on a long journey and to come off the motorway and find such a lovely, friendly, place is perfect and so easy to find (after a long day on the road that is important to me). My only little comment would be that comparative to other places I have stayed the breakfast is not elaborate, but that suits me fine! An excellent cup of coffee, delicious apricot cornetto and plenty of rolls with either local meats or cheese, or jam etc. is perfect for me. They are always very helpful and welcoming too to me and my little dog. I will definitely stay again. There are very nice walks close by along the river or up into the town.
