The location is brilliant. We flew to Ancona and rented a car. It's a 35 minute drive to Mondavio so no stress is involved. Parking was super easy. Room small but perfect for our needs. The restaurant was amazing, the food is superlative and had flexible choices. We loved the pizzas in the evening too. Views incredible. Village beautiful. Staff caring and lovely. We felt instantly at home. The village is beautiful as are the surroundings so much to see and do, and we love the coast there too.

There is nothing we didn't like. Our room didn't have an amazing view, but it didn't bother us at all as we were out and about all day and only in the room to sleep.

A gorgeous little hotel in a beautiful Medieval village with super walks to observe the stunning architecture or have a coffee and just watch. The hotel has a bar, cery good restaurant and pool - much appreciated in 30 degrees. We stayed in a townhouse just opposite on 2nd floor and with cases (wedding stuff) we needed some help with the luggage! But the strong receptionist was really helpful. Breakfast is in a beautiful salon and the selection of meats, breads, cheeses, juices, cakes is huge! There for a day and night and a super location to explore this region. Loved it.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I think the best value for money I have ever experienced. The photos don't do it justice! The rooms are recently renovated and done really well. We stayed in Family room which was two separate double rooms but connected with a door inside so it was absolutely perfect. The whole place was super clean. The food was excellent. The village is also really interesting but quiet at the same time and you get a lovely view of the castle from the hotel. Will definitely come back. 10/10 for everything!

We had two rooms - a twin and a family. It was great that they were situated just across the hall from each other. Family room - really spacious and a nice almost separate room area for the kids with its own tv rather than just a bed next to the parents bed! Large modern bathroom Twin room - small but perfectly adequate with access to a nice terrace. Housekeeping was an excellent standard Restaurant was really good

Well situated in front of Mondavio’s castle. Very nice bedroom and top notch bathroom. Better than some 4* hotels. The property also has a bar and good restaurant. It’s cozy with a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was ñ really good as well. They also accomodated us with a third bed for my 12 year old son for free.

Having to wear a cap at the swimming pool and the fact it closes at 19:00 already. Both days, we had to park a little further as the property does not have a own parking.

We felt comfortable straight away, the people were very welcoming and we loved the family friendly vibes. The restaurant was delicious and the village is so picturesque.

Everything was great. Two details : extra towels for the swimming pool would have been great, and we did not see we should have swimming caps beforehand. We had to purchase them at the property.

It's right next to a ancient castle where we entered to see the weapons used in 18th century which charges 4 or 6 Euro I can't remember. There's a balcony facing the yard of a resident house. Generally speaking, it's ok for short business travel.

It's hard to find someone speaking English and the breakfast is not so many choice to eat.

This is the second time that we have stayed at La Palomba. We love the location - the hilltop town of Mondaivo is stunning and the hotel is a thriving hub with an excellent restaurant and a friendly atmosphere.

We love the hotel, the only problem we had this time was trying to work out how to make the air conditioning cooler.

The breakfast was fantastic. All the food was delicious and I was left wanting nothing. The room had a beautiful vaulted ceiling and window over the courtyard.

We were given one door keycard (which had to be inserted into the card slot inside the room) to turn on all of the lights and electrical outlets to work. We were told that only the lights go out but found all outlets would go out (including fridge) If partner goes for a walk and takes the keycarrd, you will be left in a dark room with no power. Had to ask for a second key to leave in room so keep fridge on and laptop charging. We also had to ask that room service not take the second door keycard out.

Charging for second coffee at breakfast and water in the room mini bar is a bit rich especially when small family run b&bs provide this for free! Also odd the mandatory swimming cap rule in the Marche region - really doubt it is achieving anything
