We had the pleasure to spend six nights at this place. Relais Antica Napoli is perfectly positioned between the historic centre and the Sanità district. The nearby underground in Piazza Cavour is excellent, making it easy to get around and reach the west side of the city. The room itself was spacious and with high ceilings. Cleanliness was guaranteed thanks to the smiling and accommodating Miriam. The bed was very very comfortable. But the real highlight was the balcony, which offered a wonderful view of the city and the opposite Botanical Garden. It was the perfect spot to take in the sights in the evening. The warm hospitality and welcome of the owner, Sergio, put us at ease immediately. He's a fascinating guy and our conversations were always engaging and enjoyable. Antonio, who looks after the place most days, was also smiley, friendly, and very prompt and helpful. Overall, we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in the city. Tip: Make sure you stock plenty of 20-cent coins, you will need them for the lift, even though some complimentary coins are available at reception.

The room and bathroom could do with some repainting although that "shabbiness" is in line with the retro style of the place. While there, we were unlucky to find the coffee machine out of order and the internet only available in the reception area. Those were just temporary issues, though.

Spacious superior room, very clean and tidy. Fast internet connection and a nice shower facility. Historical center reachable by walking approx. 1,5 to 2 km through Via Duomo. Also our stay was proximal in the Archaeological museum of Naples.

Never expect to see any hotel sign because it’s not a “real hotel” but a hybrid one! The hotel name is listed in the door ring bells of a building and the reception is on the 4th floor. However in booking is listed as Hotel! Also when they mention breakfast included don’t expect a buffet. You have to walk in a nearby coffee shop where they serve a donought of your choice, a prepared juice and a cup of coffee or tea, that’s it. They claim it as Italian breakfast! Lastly you have to have a full pocket of .20 cents coins to be used each time you use the elevator. Extra daily costs NOT included in the room price.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A clear recommendation for Antonio! Antonio, the receptionist at Relais Antica Napoli, is truly outstanding – attentive, helpful, empathetic, and always discreet. Thanks to him, I felt completely taken care of. His English is excellent, and his warmth is genuine. The Relais is stylish and well-located, but Antonio is what makes the stay special. Any employer would be lucky to have him. I’ll definitely be back – and thank you, Antonio: you’ve made a new friend from Luxembourg!

Well, I fall on love with this place from the first second when I saw it 😍- the interior, the old furniture…the piano in my room and at the lobby🔥 Everything was like from the old 17 or 18 century where I’d like to live … Thank to the owner for keeping this place in a such mystery and ancient aesthetic.🫶🏼 My room was perfecto 🤌🏼 With balcony and the view on the Main Street. I enjoyed my staying in Naples for these 4 days for 1000%❤️ The place is quite close to the old city and in 20 minutes from the seaside. And additional «thank» 🫂 to Antonio. He helped me with everything - started with advice on my arrival, waiting for me in the late evening because of my delayed flight and for taking care about everything I could need - places to visit, food “must to try in Naples» and for … …for being so kind person 🙏🏼 with deep soul…it felt like the place has its own history. So just like the manager does - with his own history. So … talking about the place - I LOVED IT ❤️ Thank to owner for saving this architecture and all in order/cleanliness and thank to Antonio for fulfilling this place with some meaning and sense because of his presence ✨

Our stay at the Relais Antica Napoli was wonderful, mostly due to our host Antonio who catered to us like long lost relatives from the States. Even before we arrived he was show helpful. This was a last minute booking due to a change in our plans. He contacted us well. Before we got there and facilitated our arrival For anyone who has ever been to Napoli, it is NOT a calm and relaxed city. Thanks to Antonio, we were able to navigate with minimal anxiety. He even waited for a taxi with us, shouting to cabbies across two lanes of traffic the first night there. He truly went above and beyond for us.

The center courtyard entry needs work. Smelled of garbage from the seafood restaurant next door. Napoli is not a clean city but the building management could clean and spruce up the entrance to make it more appealing and to match the spotless and traditionally decorated interior four floors up.

This was a fantastic and comfortable room for a 4 night stay in Naples. The room is just as it appears in the pictures - simple but nice furnishings, very large room with high ceiling and nice street views from the room balcony on the 4th floor. The bed was firm but quite comfortable, great air conditioning, and the bathroom and shower were great. There is an elevator available for 20 cents per trip. The location is good - close to the airport by taxi, 5 minute taxi to Napoli train station (approximately 15 euros cost), and bus stop across the street (approximately 2 euros per trip into the main areas of Naples). The hosts were very helpful and allowed us to store our bags for free after checking out to spend more time in the city on our final day. Overall a great place to stay for a reasonable price.

The room was very spacious. You don't expect to find a stay in a city, for this kind of price, with as much space as we had. The room, and particularly the floor were spotless. The welcome from Sergio was informative and we used a couple of his suggestions for things to do during our stay and they were great. The location is close by a nice cafe which breakfast is provided and a really nice pizza place (the seafood restaurant on the front had a queue from like 7pm to 10pm, so it must have been pretty good too) and was a 15 minute walk to Spaccanapoli.

The only issue, not that it's an issue really, but just something people travelling should be aware of is the lifts cost 20 cents a go. So you should try to bring coins, but the hotel paid for our first lift up as we were unaware of this.

Excellent Service and Hospitality! We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Antonio, the manager, welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to provide us with excellent recommendations for dining and places to visit. The hotel itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really stood out to us was the exceptional service and the staff’s positive attitude. Antonio and the team made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

The shower was good and it was a huge room with a comfortable bed. Just what we needed when our flight was cancelled and we stayed here one night. The host was very friendly and passionate about what he does and Naples. The view from the balcony was cool and the curtains/shutter combo blocked basically all the sound/light from the busy street below. The airport is nearby, so it was a quick taxi up the road in the morning.

We couldn't get the WiFi to work. A lot of stairs but the lift was okay - just cost 20 cent a pop.

Staff were really helpful when needed and with a change of arrangements. It is quite a walk to any of the main sites but that was always known and part of the reason for booking here to be a bit out of the way. The room was comfortable and clean and as expected. A/C was very effective and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was not at the hotel but with a voucher for a cafe a few doors down the road. We never used this due to early starts each day for trips.

Location is quite far from most main attractions but that is known when booking. The lift did not inspire confidence and would not let us in on the last day. The place can be a challenge to find but instructions were given. It can be a hassle fighting through the crowd outside waiting for the restaurant at certain times.
