It's hard to beat the location, right in the centre next to the cathedral, set high, in a grand Palazzo of the 1700's, with parking (paid, with some free spaces) outside, it was end of October so no crowds and it feels very local and peaceful. The hotel was the palazzo of a noble local family who donated it to the church in 1949 and it's run by the church not that you would know, an authentic experience that doesn't have all the tricked up things that go with hotels these days, if you like simple and authentic in a good way then this is the place. The unexpected are the grand rooms of the first floor, vacant and used for events, full of marvellous frescoes and architectural detail. The staff couldn't be more helpful and charming.

If you are planning on a work holiday then the wifi may not be as effective as you might like but for everything else it works perfectly fine. I left my work home so it didn't bother me at all, if fact the break from technology was a relief.

Amazing central location in Noto, with wonderful view out the window of the basilica dome next door, it was a treat to be woken to nearby bells tolling. Access up to the rooms was slightly complicated with use of an elevator with the key, but the memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the help at reception, although not there 24/7 (we had to wait 5-10 minutes to check in), picked up the phone immediately and were very kind and helpful and gave us context about the history of the building. The courtyard is scenic also. Decor in room and hallways less appealing, but it was a plus to be able to wander thru the floor which previously housed official events and bedrooms of former occupants.

Classic historical palazzo directly in the middle of Baroque central Noto. My Room #101 was spacious. Bed extremely comfortable. Very large bathroom with excellent hot water pressure. The staff, especially Monica, was incredibly accommodating, thoughtful & kind. The cleaning room staff found a piece of clothing I left behind, & within minutes after checkout, Monica notified me via WhatsAp. I stayed 2 weekday nites.

Nothing really, except be careful when exiting the shower with wet feet.

Villa Landolina is a wonderful historical building, the visit to the building, led by the hotel staff, was amazing. The courtesy and service by each hotel staff is more than excellent. The location in the centre of Noto is perfect.

Villa Landolina is such a marvelous historical building, that the cheap fixtures, accessories and furniture used to refurbish the bedroom are a kind of contrast with the charme of the place. It was clearly a budget choice, not in line with the style of the building. Nonetheless we would be delighted to go back, when you move around in that amazing building you forget about the interior design details of the guest bedroom.

The breakfast was pretty basic. There was fresh espresso every morning. The staff could not have been nicer. The location is over the top. You are literally in the heart of Centro Noto. The hotel was fascinating. The original palace is so interesting. I would stay there again. I thought it was very reasonably priced. The room was quite large for Europe and the bathroom was very big. There are places to set down your belongings and organize, which was helpful. The room and bathroom were immaculate.

The pillows were not comfortable. The bedside lighting was not great for reading. The bathroom lighting was lacking a little.

The building is charming, unspoilt and elegant. The people were helpful. It was quiet, well managed with focus on the most important things: authentic atmosphere, very clean and comfy, relaxed and flexible. Completely unlike the sterile sameness of the usual hotel.

English speaking was poor.

The staff is incredible! Very friendly and warm welcome. We received a lot of tips what to do, where to go and got the free tour of the palace. The location the best in the city as well, right next to the cathedral. We would stay here again, just for the staff and location.

It isn’t really 4 Star standard, the palace needs renovating and lots of little thing are run down. The rooms have all amenities but are not very cosy. Eg. Toilet Seat is loose,… The breakfast ist rather limited, plastic cups for juice, plastic cutlery,…

In an old historical palazzo in the heart of Noto, you step back in time when seeing the old entertaining rooms which have been preserved. Rooms are simple and spacious, location excellent.

Rooms could do with an uplift, staff on some of the days too junior and not familiar with Noto to give recommendations.

You cannot dream of a better location. The hotel is literally aside the wonderful cathedral of Noto, a few steps from all the attractions of the city. The hotel used to be the palace of the most prominent family in Noto when the city was built from scratch after a disastrous earthquake erased the old city. The hotel staff are amazingly nice and courteous, as well as passionate about the place and its history. They will also lead you for a visit to the beautiful apartment of the first floor, that was the residence of the Landolina family and hosted the Borbone kings, and to a beautiful exhibition space on the ground floor.

The room furniture is basic and the shower is small.

Absolutely central location with good parking possibilities directly in front. Friendly helpful staff.

The hotel consists of reception and breakfast room on the right hand side of the ground floor - the bedrooms are all on the top floor of an otherwise empty palace and are accessed via a lift from the rear entrance of the left side. Rather limited facilities for unpacking/hanging clothes. Mediocre breakfasts. No international TV
