The Mariano IV hotel (named after 14th century judge/king of Arborea) is nicely and stylishly decorated and offers a very good breakfast buffet. Our room (incl. bathroom) was spacious with a comfortable matrass. While slightly out of centre, the hotel is quite conveniently located for entering the city centre (on foot) as well as for exiting (by car). Staff is friendly and helpful.

A bit more variation on the breakfast buffet could have made it even more enjoyable, as at the 3rd day you get a bit of a "déjà-vu" feeling. Elevators appeared to suffer a bit from the heat, as they were part-time out of order.

Lovely hotel ,room with balcony and very nice view ,friendly staff ,amazing restaurant located at the hotel with the garden seating area ,plus bonus playing area for the children .My daughter enjoys playing,while l can relax in quiet atmosphere with the freshly prepared orange juice.Food was great ,maybe could of be cheaper but you paying for good quality and the freshness. You can feel so special ,knowing that your dish been prepared from fresh ingredients and the herbs been picked by the Chef's from the restaurant garden. Additionally an amazing breakfast ,variety of cakes and unlimited coffees ,savoury breakfast available too.

The location is very central near the centre, there is a free parking just next to the hotel. I didn't expect such a great hotel and service for Oristano to be honest, we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained and in great condition, rooms and bathroom are spotless clean and confortable. Not sure if the AC worked but we didn't have to use it. The staff was super professional and very friendly. We were living very early in the morning before the opening time for breakfast and they offered to prepare take away breakfast in the morning for us. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The staff was friendly, i could check in early, the room was clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the hotel's restaurant was so delicious.The location was near the historic centre.water was offered in the fridge.my bedroom's view was looking at the garden.

Comfortably old-fashoned place with solid furnishings and very friendly staff. Rooms are nicely furnished. Apart from the coffee, the breakfast was good.

Coffee from a machine at breakfast was terrible. And, like in most other hotels, there's far too much reliance on single-use plastics at breakfast. Hotels need to get real about the climate emergency and plastic pollution. Finding a parking spot may be an issue.

Very polite and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. It’s a short walk to the centre where there are lots of restaurants available. Parking was on the street/square in front of the hotel. The room was very clean.

I would have preferred to have a small kettle in the room to be able to make a hot drink.

The adjoining Hotel Restaurant "Blao" is extremely convenient, and serves excellent food/wine. But it pays to book at Reception - as one night it was completely booked. In the event of it being fully booked we would recommend the nearby "Ristorante La Brace" and "Ristorante da SID" on via Figoli (although the former does not have conventional paper menus, so it is a pain on the mobile to see what is on offer!) Samuele on Reception was always very helpful. Indeed all reception staff were excellent, although some breakfast room staff were not that communicative (a language thing perhaps). The day we took the train to Cagliari it was pouring down and the Hotel loaned us an umbrella for the day.

The shower doors left a gap through which water leaked on to the floor, and on the final night the air conditioning didn't work. "Fruit juice" very disappointing - powdered type.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large. The breakfast had a good choice. The staff were very helpful.

The location although within walking distance of the centre was a bit far away. We couldn't find a taxi from the train station to the hotel so had to walk. On the other hand from the hotel to the train station the staff were very nice and found us transport to the station.

The hotel is a little dated however was in a fantastic location in walking distance to the centre, close to restaurants and cafes. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and always greeting you when entering and leaving the hotel, no question was a bother. The room had everything you would need. Breakfast was good with all the basic continental foods. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel if you want a place to stay close to the centre.

The location is perfect, in the heart of Oristano and great if you want to attend the Sartiglia, access the best restaurants and get in and out of the city with ease. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and whatever is missing, the staff will provide for in a matter of minutes. The staff is indeed what makes the difference in this hotel: incredibly polite, friendly, thorough, and very helpful. Breakfast was very good for this kind of accommodation. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The rooms are a bit outdated and the entire property would benefit with a refurbishment to give it a more modern look.
