We had the most incredible stay at Palazzo Rodio—a beautiful and tranquil house that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Paolo, Teresa and Valentina went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. The house itself is stunning—steeped in charm and history, yet wonderfully comfortable. The swimming pool area and gardens are absolutely breathtaking—a peaceful oasis ideal for relaxing after exploring Ostuni. We also loved the delicious breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and served with care. This is the kind of place you find once and never forget. We will absolutely be back, and we’re already recommending it to friends and family. Grazie mille for an unforgettable experience!

Palazzo Rodio is an atmospheric 19th century building just a short walk from Ostuni old town. The beautiful walled garden and pool are an oasis of calm. The warm welcome and hospitality from Paolo, Teresa and Valentina were a highlight of our trip . Lovely breakfast with lots of fresh fruit . We had the middle room without a terrace /balcony but the garden was available to us to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Grazie mille Clare ,Denis and Matt

It is a heritage building so that brings some quirks such as low door heights in places so just need to mind the head !

This truly is an Italian palace! We stayed in the Melody room (family of 4 which included 21 and 19 year old children), and it was both massive and breathtaking. The hosts were exceptional with particular callout to Paolo, Teresa and Valentina. The pool was a good size in its own private hideaway. The breakfast was always offered with the highest standard of service and quality. Ostuni itself is fantastic with the centre a short 5 minute walk away.

The air conditioning was not working in one of the bedrooms. In fairness they had called out a service engineer twice to try get it sorted so no fault of hosts. As the space is so big it was not a problem.

Palazzo Rodio is a beautiful, quiet place very conveniently located a few minutes by foot from the city center. The pool area with gorgeous trees and plants was absolutely charming and the room spacious and cool (even without using the air con) despite the hot weather. But what really made my experience so pleasant was the kindness, warmth and thoughtfulness of the hosts, Paolo and Teresa. From the delicious homemade pie to helping book a taxi or driving me to the train station, they were constantly looking for a way to make me feel at home.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable.

The hosts were lovely . Always around to offer drinks around the pool and fresh fruit from the garden at breakfast time . Everything was immaculate The pool was lovely to cool off or have a relaxing morning . All in all a beautiful place to stay

The door code was a bit of a faff on your phone .. but we managed okay .. it’s just getting used to it . It’s a bit of trouble finding Rodeo palace as the streets are so narrow and all look the same, but someone was available to help once we were there and provided a secure parking space on the drive

Paolo and his team were fantastically welcoming, helpful and generous throughout our stay - Paolo and his charming wife even invited us for drinks and gelato with their friends! The Palazzo is stunning, the suite was spacious, well-equipped and clean and the breakfast was delicious - with a selection of wonderful fresh, local produce and pastries. The location is brilliant for both walking to the Old Town (10 minutes) or driving out of Ostuni in any direction. Ostuni itself is wonderful. Make sure you take up Paolo's recommendation to eat at Ristorante Caffe Cavour - fantastic food in a beautiful setting - cooked and presented by the brilliant Fabrizio and his wife.

The Palazzo is beautiful. We stayed in the superior apartment. It was very spacious and quiet and we had a very large outdoor patio for our private use. Great breakfast out in the beautiful garden by the pool every morning. Easy 5 minute walk to the historic city center with lots of great restaurants. The pizza restaurant right next door was also very good. The hosts were so kind and went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

The hosts Paolo and Teresa were very welcoming and helpful. We got specific help booking transportation for a group going to a remote winery and also for a large group table booking at a local restaurant. There is an information booklet in the room with lots of information on the property and recomendations on restaurants, beaches, places to visit, practical tips. The secure parking was very good. Breakfast (additional charge) was good. The location is close enough to walk to the historical old town yet accessible easily by car. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with lots of character due to the historical nature of the building. Well equiped even a fridge freezer with plenty of room to store drinks and ice for the drinks! Pool and garden area very good and not too busy because there are only four appartments. A real oasis for some quiet time and place to cool off on a hot day.

Bathroom in our room was small but functional. Everything else was very good. We would return and recommend this property.

The hosts were gracious and room was HUGE. Perfect location for easily getting in and out of ostuni with private parking. Well cared for it was nice to spend some time in such a historic space.

Pool was so charming but a bit small. Quiet time In the garden/pool area was requested between 1pm and 4pm but this is when our kids most needed the pool/break from the city or beach. They were complimented on their behavior and the hosts were very gracious - brought treats and such- but as a parent it was a bit stressful to enforce quiet (not just calmness- even low talking felt like too much ) during that period. We ended up staying at the beaches longer to get through the mid day quiet.

We just left Ostuni after a wonderful stay at Palazzo Rodio, and we really did not want to leave this beautiful place. Despite being just a short walk from the heart of Ostuni's centre and super close to everything, the atmosphere here is so peaceful, you feel like you're in your own private oasis. The beautiful gardens and pool, the spacious rooms, history of the building all contribute to a sense of serenity. It's rare to find a place to stay so close to the old town that also has this space and beautiful outside area, so we were thrilled to see it gets the sun through the afternoon and loved relaxing by the pool. In addition to this, what truly made our stay exceptional were the owners; they were so friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of our visit was perfect, even upgrading our room when they had availability and hosting Aperativo drinks and food in the early evenings for guests. Palazzo Radio is a truly special place for the authentic Italian experience and I can’t recommend it any higher - we'll definitely be back! .
