Beautiful building. Lovely garden, a really relaxing oasis in this gorgeous town. Wonderful service and staff - faultless. Great breakfast. Wonderful shower. Terrific bar and bar staff.

The pool was freezing, despite it being hot outside, and sadly too cold to swim in. Could it be heated? Our suite was rather dark - too much dark grey on the walls and no view. Quirky aesthetic - I'd have preferred this historic building to have been returned to its former traditional glory, but maybe that's just me. We didn't appreciate the owner (?) (woman with short hair), who we hadn't seen before, sending a member of staff to ask if we were guests there, even though it was our third day there! That didn't make us feel welcome.

The location was amazing - right in the historic center but not in a noisy or busy section. The staff were exceptional and attentive . The hotel and the grounds were absolutely beautiful- tasteful details throughout the property. The all inclusive breafast was delicious and the spread was delicious for an all inclusive breakfast. We had dinner at their resturant and it was an amazing meal. Absolutely LOVED this hotel- a little pricey but absolutely worth it.

The rooms are small- so no option for a group of 3 or traveling with children- you would have to get an additional room . Also the shower is in the bathroom- not seperate or contained so unless you wear the flip flops provided it can be slippery.

Upon arrival at the train station, called hotel for taxi and was quoted €40 for the 3km trip - was informed by reception that there were no public taxi's and too dangerous to walk along the road - declined and café owner around the corner from the train station ordered a local taxi for us, for just €15 Poor service at breakfast. Room extremely small & Compact - nowhere to place personal toiletries in bathroom. Staff did not know how to work underfloor heating in bathroom. Was not informed that there was a €10 deposit on lost room key card until it appeared on our bill at checkout !!

All the staff were Fantastically helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Excellent spa treatments and first rate sightseeing advice.

Our room was exceptionally dark. This didn’t matter in the bedroom except that it was difficult to read in bed at night due to the position of the sidelights. However the lighting in the bathroom/shower area made it potentially hazardous.

We had a wonderful stay at Paragon 700. It's a very stylish hotel, with lots of lovely touches. The staff were superb especially Rita, Leonardo and Freja in bar and restaurant and reception were extremley helpful as well. Breakfast is wonderful in the garden overlooking the pool with freshly made bread and pastries and warm food made to order. The restaurant is also superb and we ate there a number of times. Our room was Ruby, a grand room with a balcony overlooking the pool.

I think only two things that I didn't particularly like, the first was that when we were greeted we were asked if we wanted to park and told that it was 20 euros a day because we'd booked with 'Booking.com'. For the room rate I think parking should be included and I didn't feel it was the best of welcomes as it took away the wow factor. Secondly, the place is beautiful but lots of things are available to buy, so you have price tags on things or tags saying if you take this you will be charged. For a hotel of this level, I think it cheapens the experience and is unnecessary.

We stayed here for 5 nights and having eaten at the two local Michelin star restaurants, the food at Paragon700 easily competes with them! Amazing food, cocktails and hospitality from all the staff. The hotel in is a great location and being an old palace has been restored to a great standard, with many of the original features remaining. We stayed in the Paragon suite, which is beautifully designed with original artwork on the ceilings and a sunken bath, which is great to unwind in after touring the city. The chefs and mixologists are very talented and staff couldn't be more helpful! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

My only complaints would be their website says secured parking is included with the room, however when you arrive they charge 20 euro per day for this. Also, not sure using the hot-tub justifies 60 euro per person, after having a massage in the SPA.

Quirky boutique hotel, Rooms looked beautiful

Service was poor, staff unfriendly, seemed to worry more about visitors dining in the restaurant, than looking after their residents at the hotel. No drink service by the pool, being a very small hotel, the personal service should be a lot better.

We loved the staff and hospitality here! From the front desk, to the bartender, to the lovely chef! Everyone here is friendly and goes out of their way to deliver luxurious service. A+. The location is also perfect! Can't believe you can be adjacent to the city center and also have a spacious pool area!

Italian beds are very firm. We knew this but still yearned for something just a tad softer! The bath tub also needs a pillow or something to rest your head/neck on. It is so gigantic I felt like a little kid in the there :)
