Room was junior suite...not large by.any means...bed was comfortable but room needs a little TLC The reception and breakfast area was in another building a few minutes walk away...found this quite odd. There was no mention of this when booking. The hotel is made up of 8/9 different houses. Staff were very helpful.

We were on the top floor which was accessible via the steepest narrowest set of stairs I have ever seen. One slip and they would be a deathtrap. Dont know how it passed Health and safety regulations. Also no advance notice of this and if someone had any kind of issues...or poor health it would be disaster.

Dana Bianca is centrally located in the heart of Ostuni and is a super authentic accomodation with incredible architecture & design with white washed + stone walls, roofs & arches reminiscent of traditional Puglia houses. My room Kaliste had a nice rooftop terrace with a small sea view. The bathroom is incredibly modern with travertine and with great toiletries. Rita was amazingly kind & hospitable with her incredible service who was always happy to help. The breakfast is exactly what you want in Italy with a great selection of breads, cold cuts & pastries. Would definitely recommended as they have additional facilities including jacuzzi in warmer months.

The stairs are steep & it was initially difficult to find my way around the property

The rooms are all standalone in separate properties scattered around the edge of the old town, only a couple of minutes into the main piazza. The Poesia room we stayed in was very sympathetically converted and updated. Massive main area on the first floor including bathroom, basic kitchenette, dressing room with jacuzzi and a very comfy and large bed. There was further bedroom upstairs which we didn’t use, also a roof terrace which it was too hot to sit on during the day but would be lovely late in the evening or early in the morning I’m sure. Staff were super friendly and efficient.

The jacuzzi in our room didn’t work! We found this out late on the Sunday afternoon at which point it didn’t seem to be worth making a fuss as there was little chance of it being fixed before we left the next morning. And to be fair it was huge and just nice to lay in anyway. But maybe worth checking to see if it is fixed before booking, if that would be important to you. Breakfast fairly basic - unless you want to fill up on cake, which looked amazing but isn’t how we start our days. Parking on the road beside the little green piazza on the outskirts of the old town was easy enough, but the Gestopark app is a total disaster to use so try and pay on the kerbside machines instead if you can make sense of them.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. However be aware that this is not a hotel, but a series of rooms, each with its own door opening directly on to the street; a little disconcerting for one female member of our party on her own whose room was 300m and 2 streets away. There is no main entrance and the taxi dropped us near what turned out to be one of the rooms we had booked. We spoke to the owner on the phone to find the rooms and door pin numbers requiring at least basic understanding of Italian. Breakfast was good, served at a separate property but we did not get to the roof top spa because it was in another property and you had to book in advance for someone to come and open the door to gain access (again from the street). Overall very comfortable but not a "hotel" experience.

We had a private entrance from the street. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Bathroom was modern, clean and nice. Bed was very comfortable. Terrace was up another flight of stairs and was nice to sit on with nice views and lounge chairs. Breakfast was decent, fair few options, with coffee, juice and pastries. It’s only around a 5 minute walk into the centre of ostuni. Receptionist was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations.

It was hard to find the entrance to the reception and they should send specific directions before arrival.

Arrival was a bit strange, as the main door was locked. However, when you realise the layout of the hotel, it all makes sense. The room had lots of steps - based on 3 floors. We didn't take the cases up to the bedroom, as it felt like too much hassle. Very authentic and attractive though. Kept stubbing our toe on the bed frame, as it jutted out a bit. Cute bathroom and roof terrace - if you wanted to climb more stairs! Breakfast was in a small room next to the Reception desk - continental. It was quite empty when we were there (Sept 2024), so lacked atmosphere.

Very stylish suite with living room, bedroom and terrace in a beautifully restored ancient village house. Beautifully decorated and very high quality fixtures and fittings. Fantastic to have a roof terrace. Very close to the old town for restaurants. Good breakfast in a separate building a short distance away. Quiet. Great value out of season.

The person who met us to let us into the property seemed to be in a real hurry. She didn't show us around the room and consequently we never found out how to work the air conditioning (or else it didn't work). Not a problem for us but be aware that there are very steep steps between the living area and bedroom. Also, the hotel consists of a number of distinct properties in adjacent streets. All the rooms are very different so be careful which you select. We had to pay for bike storage - this has always been free elsewhere, however the room was very good value.

A very comfortable and unique stay. Appreciate the amenities (jacuzzi and sauna) and having breakfast was good to start to the day.

There was an issue with the room we booked which took some time to fix. While we were delayed the staff (particularly Rita) were helpful and gave a complementary drinks while we waited and a bottle of wine for our troubles. We were able to get into the room we originally booked for our second night.

Rit was a delight to take care of us. She exceeded our expectations and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable and easier.

We didnt like our 1st room that was assigned which was a 2 bedroom apt. There were no doors on the bedrooms, the refrigerator was making a wierd sound and the space was a little too minimalistic. The problem was quickly taken care of by moving us to a much better unit that was more pleasing to what we liked.

Friendly staff and a clean room with modern bathroom, serviced with fresh towels each day. There was an electric jug and coffee machine provided, also two bottles of water each day. The apartment was only a five minute walk to the centre.

Being in an old building there are steep steps up to both the living space and bedroom/ensuite, which could be a problem for some. However the ‘hotel’ is a series of appartments, so this may not be true for all.
