We have just returned from spending 6 lovely days staying at Domus Hyblaea Resort. I was so pleased to have picked this outstanding location for visiting the SE corner of Sicily. The hotel is outside the town set in immaculate grounds complete with a restaurant, lounge area and a wonderful swimming pool. We had dinner the the restaurant twice and regret we should have booked more dinners as the food and wine were first class and very reasonable. The breakfasts were generous in variety and quality. My wife and I made the most of traveling round the area and we have to say the everyone with whom we came into contact were delightful, no more so than our hosts Chinzia and Daniel. This exceptional revue is fully justified.

We stayed at this incredible hotel for three nights in mid-August and were absolutely thrilled with our experience. The property is a lush, green oasis, offering a relaxing escape surrounded by vibrant nature. Our two-story suite was spectacular, with ample space, luxurious amenities, and impeccable cleanliness. On our first day, they served us dinner in our room, and it was so tasty—an exceptional start to our stay. The pool area was equally stunning, providing the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the peaceful ambiance. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful food grown right on the property. Though we couldn’t join the holiday party due to travel fatigue, the energy and spread looked amazing, and with a dedicated chef, we’re sure the food was exceptional. The location was ideal—just 30 minutes from Noto and 40 minutes from Siracusa—offering the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. If you’re seeking a relaxing retreat near some of Sicily’s most beautiful destinations, this hotel is a must. We can’t recommend it enough!

Nothing, everything was perfect

Domus Hybleae is wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The owners and staff are very nice and welcoming and put great attention in every detail, that made our stay a real pleasure. You could just spend a full week enjoying the countryside, the food and the pool, but it's also great that it is so close to Palazzolo Acreide that is a little gem, and a very strategic location to visit Siracusa, Ragusa, Noto and the rest of the south east of Sicily. The WiFi was working very well, so if you need to do some work it's also perfect.

Cinzia made our stay very welcoming. Chef Daniele, delivered exceptional dishes which were not on the menu! The grounds are well kept and the suite was excellent for a small family.

The walk from the room to the restaurant or the stairs to the pool is not easily manageable with a pushchair or a small baby.

Incredibly hospitable and welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. The resort is beautifully arranged and tastefully decorated. Huge bonus is that the beds are very comfortable. It's hard to add more to the previous reviews because they do accurately reflect what you can expect from Domus Hyblea.

Domus Hybalea in Palazzolo Acreide is a great find. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, making our stay very comfortable. The property is beautifully maintained, and our room was spotless and inviting. The restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious cuisine. Highly recommend for a perfect stay in Sicily!

We loved asolutely everything.....from the staff, the service, the cleaniness, the food, the suite, the atmosphere or the calmness, the location is absolutely amazing!!!! If its for family vacations, groups of friends or just a romantic getaway this place ticks all the boxes. We've been to Sicily countless times but I can honestly say that this vacation was the best by far. Will definately recommend and will surely visit again in the near future!!!

Staff was great, especially Cinzia, very friendly and welcoming, food was lovely, they even cooked us scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast, rooms very clean and the grounds are simply breath taking. I would go back there again for sure.Recommend it 100%

It was an oasis of calm and the owners/staff were so welcoming! We had booked a tasting session with Danny the chef of the house to try their own oils, wines and meats and this was exceptional!! Danny was a charming and informative host, superb. Rooms were fantastic too.
