This hotel feels more like a resort, with outdoor pools and various facilities. At night, it’s beautifully illuminated, and the interior is just as stunning, clean and tastefully designed. It iss not overly large, which adds to its charm, and even the standard rooms feature spacious balconies. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

The location feels somewhat isolated, as the surrounding area is not the most appealing and it is a bit far out. However, it's a good option if you're traveling by car, as Salerno is within reasonable driving distance. They also have a shuttle bus but we did not use it.

Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are brilliant - very professional and friendly at the same time. We loved the bar by the pool and the guys there were lovely. The pool area and the surrounding gardens are very well kept. The restaurant is very good but if you want to be less formal, eat at the poolside bar. The room was good with a comfy bed and good air con. Nice to have a mini bar to keep your own drinks cool. Excellent breakfast choices and good cappuccino and espresso.

We had a superior room but not sure what was superior - it was in a corner so the view wasn't great and the balcony was tiny. I wish we'd upgraded. A view of the pool would have been better than our view of the road mainly although we did have the sea and Capri in the background. The private beach is across the street, so easy access and the loungers are nice plus there's a little beach bar there. Would've been nice if beach area swept a bit to clear rubbish though. The surrounding area didn't have much going for it but really you have all you need at the hotel.

The ultimate family run hotel. We lovely every aspect of the Olimpico and would definitely return. It is 25 mins drive outside Salerno, but the hotel has got everything you need - including a free shuttle bus to the city and to the airport, that you don't need anything else. They also have their own beach across the road - perfect.The staff are so lovely and speak great English, especially the waiters at the pool bar were fantastic. As long as Salerno Airport is as small as it is, this is THE hotel to book. Definitely recommend it. We loved the Olimpico so much, we stayed again at the end of our holiday!

The breakfast was the best we had with a large choice of different food including fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, continental and traditional fried options. All the staff were friendly whenever you met them, the people cleaning the rooms, the reception staff and the bar and restaurant staff. The room was comfortable, there was air conditioning and it had a nice balcony. The swimming pool was very clean and the beach was one of the best we went to unfortunately the sea was a bit rough when we were there so we couldn't swim in the sea but the beach was sandy. The airport transfer was so convenient and they picked us up from salerno station which was great because we had cases.

Nothing I would really recommend this hotel

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Good Wifi internet. Nice quality garden with a lot of palm trees. Nice clean pool, freshwater and not cold! Good Poolbar! Beach is close, nice sandy & shingly coast, separate free of charge outfits for hotel guest. Beach is clean and not overcrowded. There is "poolbar" on the beach too! :) Free parking for cars. Safe location of the hotel area.

Neglected surroundings, no quality bars, restaurants around. The hotel is like an oasis there. We had rental car, it is useful if you want to make trips in the region, however there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Salerno center (ca 25-30 min drive)

The hotel was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional- everyone made us feel welcomed. The restaurant was excellent-we ate dinner there every night

The location was isolated-we did not feel comfortable exploring around the hotel. Beside the hotel and it’s lido, there is nothing.

The staff demonstrated exceptional helpfulness, ensuring a tranquil retreat experience. A complimentary shuttle bus service is available to facilitate transportation to the Salerno metro station and port. Kindly note that scheduling the bus a day prior to departure is essential. The hotel features a private beach conveniently located across the street. For dining options beyond the hotel restaurant, we recommend utilizing the shuttle service to the Salerno train station, where a variety of seaside restaurants can be found.

The hotel can't be blamed for this. There's hardly any place to eat outside the hotel.

Great personnel, Nice breakfast and Nice pool. The hotel offers free shuttle to Salerno city and the ferries to Amalfi etc, many times a day. Very convenient! Nearby Napoli, Amalfi coast, Sorrento and Pompei. The Beach is 50 m from hotel, nice, clean and warm sea in October. Big waterland nearby for the kids (open to September). Shopping mall only 15m by car.

The pool was a bit cold in October. Restaurants neaeby were closed or had redused meny due to low season in October. The restaurant at the hotel had good food and was very nice! Recommend going here in June-October.

Hotel was modern, recently and tastefully decorated and spotless. Great pool area and other activities for kids like a tennis court and small playground so very family friendly. Breakfast was very good and all staff are friendly especially the waiters. Bed very comfortable.

It is fairly remote so only ideal if you have a car. Free Bus shuttle a good service but you are tied to specific times. Maybe offering more times would help. Beach area could do with a clean up. Even clearing the litter 50 m either side of hotel olimpico beach area would make a huge difference. I expect it comes in with the tide but it should be cleaned regularly

The hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, the grounds were just as impressive too. The hotel has the best Staff - all so friendly and helpful.

The only down side was that it was not close to many restaurants and there was no nearby shop - not even a convenience shop - but in all fairness this didn’t matter as you had all you needed on site and the hotel provides a free courtesy bus that will take you to the main town of Salerno and drop you where you want to go such as the ferry port.
