Nice breakfast, get coffee to order from a barista; Shuttle minibus is convenient if you don’t have a car but need to ensure you follow their timetable and plan ahead to get a spot. Driver was friendly. Beach side - member of staff there was really friendly and helpful. He was there each day with a smile. You could order pizza and cocktails for lunch either as takeaway or get it served. Staff generally friendly, food was nice.

It would have been nice to have an option to make tea & coffee in the room. Single iron for the whole main hotel building and you need to use it in the laundry room once you get a key from a reception. If you don’t have a car, it’s bit far away to walk anywhere nice. Surrounding area is not great. Cleaning was different based on who done it, one of the days, I could see sun spray I used in the morning still on the tiles after room was done but overall good. Not many channels on TV in English (just news). They rent part of the space for weddings and celebrations so feels odd to be in the middle of it when you are going to the pool!

Very good and wide ranging buffet breakfast. Clean, well-appointed rooms. Nice pool area and generally a very comfortable, well looked after building - an oasis amongst many rundown hotels in the area outside of Salerno. Restaurant food very good, if a fair bit pricier than outside. Location is, as I say, a little rundown (May '25), maybe a little early in the season but excellent for trains and travel to the more popular spots of Amalfi, Pompei etc. The price was good value with a very reasonable upgrade to a balcony and sea view. It was a really nice time to go, as the weather was perfect and the poolside was quiet. It often felt like it was a private resort.

Some restaurant staff maybe a little overworked and unable to be as warm or attentive as one might expect. Poolside staff were an exception and the opposite. Sports/leisure facilities could use some attention: e.g. broken tennis racquets (actually a safety hazard) and one old ball. It wouldn't be expensive or difficult to fix that and make that a more desirable and useful area of the hotel.

Hotel Olimpco is very classy, clean, beautiful and the staff was absolutely amazing. Restaurant has a great menu and the waiters were very friendly! It’s relaxing and gorgeous dinner outdoors surrounded by the beautiful atmosphere! The Private beach entrance is only a 2 minute walk and clean with a bar food and personal lifeguard! My family did a trip to Positano and were late getting back, at 10pm in the evening I messaged the front desk for help and they had an employee in the personal shuttle to come pick us all up and get us back to the hotel! No other hotel we have been to was this kind and helpful! Hotel olímpico IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We will be back %100 highly recommended!!

The property is very beautiful everything looks new and it is very clean.

The only problem was the service in the evening restaurant. It was very chaotic. We waited 20 mins then had to ask for menus to be told there were none available had to scan a code to view on mobile phone. ( meanwhile couples came in after us and were given menus and attentive service). It took two hours for two courses. 50 mins for first course. Such a shame as everything else is beautiful at this hotel as are the rest of the staff. They need a restaurant manager who can take control not choose which couples get his attention and those who don’t.

This hotel feels more like a resort, with outdoor pools and various facilities. At night, it’s beautifully illuminated, and the interior is just as stunning, clean and tastefully designed. It iss not overly large, which adds to its charm, and even the standard rooms feature spacious balconies. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

The location feels somewhat isolated, as the surrounding area is not the most appealing and it is a bit far out. However, it's a good option if you're traveling by car, as Salerno is within reasonable driving distance. They also have a shuttle bus but we did not use it.

The hotel was super clean, tidy and looks incredible. The reception staff were amazing, and went above and beyond to answer all our questions and their recommendations were spot on. Because the location is quite out of the way, the shuttle bus was a saving grace. The food was great and overall such good value for money.

The dinner service was quite inconsistent. On a few nights it was fantastic however other times we felt very dismissed by the waiting staff, despite the place being no busier than the previous day.

Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are brilliant - very professional and friendly at the same time. We loved the bar by the pool and the guys there were lovely. The pool area and the surrounding gardens are very well kept. The restaurant is very good but if you want to be less formal, eat at the poolside bar. The room was good with a comfy bed and good air con. Nice to have a mini bar to keep your own drinks cool. Excellent breakfast choices and good cappuccino and espresso.

We had a superior room but not sure what was superior - it was in a corner so the view wasn't great and the balcony was tiny. I wish we'd upgraded. A view of the pool would have been better than our view of the road mainly although we did have the sea and Capri in the background. The private beach is across the street, so easy access and the loungers are nice plus there's a little beach bar there. Would've been nice if beach area swept a bit to clear rubbish though. The surrounding area didn't have much going for it but really you have all you need at the hotel.

The ultimate family run hotel. We lovely every aspect of the Olimpico and would definitely return. It is 25 mins drive outside Salerno, but the hotel has got everything you need - including a free shuttle bus to the city and to the airport, that you don't need anything else. They also have their own beach across the road - perfect.The staff are so lovely and speak great English, especially the waiters at the pool bar were fantastic. As long as Salerno Airport is as small as it is, this is THE hotel to book. Definitely recommend it. We loved the Olimpico so much, we stayed again at the end of our holiday!

The breakfast was the best we had with a large choice of different food including fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, continental and traditional fried options. All the staff were friendly whenever you met them, the people cleaning the rooms, the reception staff and the bar and restaurant staff. The room was comfortable, there was air conditioning and it had a nice balcony. The swimming pool was very clean and the beach was one of the best we went to unfortunately the sea was a bit rough when we were there so we couldn't swim in the sea but the beach was sandy. The airport transfer was so convenient and they picked us up from salerno station which was great because we had cases.

Nothing I would really recommend this hotel

The accommodation was close to the beach and had a private beach with sun beds. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. The room had a wide bed and nice facilities overall.

The bathroom could have been cleaned better. The beach was not well maintained and was located across the road. Breakfast items were not restocked in time, so we weren’t able to get any pastries. The air conditioning system couldn’t be fully controlled, and I wasn’t able to heat the room.
