The location was as we expected, quiet, well maintained, and within easy access to main routes to explore this area of Italy. The Amalfi coast is a short drive north from here, and Salerno is just a few minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, offering great value for money, and excellent dining. Breakfast is a feast of pastries, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt and the fresh fruit was really good. Mimmo is a wonderful host, and a genuinely nice guy, who was always welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble, we met as strangers and left as friends. thankyou for everything.

Driving along the Amalfi coast was one of the main reasons we chose Samilu B&B, but beware, finding a parking space, can be challenging, and the route is not for the faint hearted. The views and towns certainly don't disappoint, however, parking at the port in Salerno is plentiful, and perhaps a boat trip to the coastal towns would suit some people, and save on the hassle of parking. Just hop off the boat and enjoy.

The stay was great! The villa is very spacious, cozy with a large area. Located outside the city, but there are good restaurants within a 5-7 minute drive, and great beaches are a short drive away. Breakfasts are delicious, fresh croissants and fruit, delicious coffee and much more. But the most important thing is the host! To the rating of 10 for the accommodation as a whole, we would gladly add another 10 points to the owner personally. Mimmo is just an incredibly hospitable host, you probably can't imagine a better one. It was the best choice to stay here, and pleasant impressions and memories will remain with us! Thank you for everything and we will definitely come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Samilu near Battipaglia for two nights, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The B&B is conveniently located just a 10-minutes drive from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy some sun and sand without any hassle. Additionally, the free parking near the house was a significant plus, saving us the trouble of finding a spot and ensuring our car was secure. The room was impeccably clean, a top priority for me when choosing a place to stay. The environment was pleasant and peaceful, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights of B&B Samilu is the beautiful garden. The host was very helpful and attentive. The combination of a great location, excellent amenities, and a warm, welcoming host made it a memorable visit. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay near Battipaglia.

B&B Samilu was one of our best experiences we encountered during our travels. We both (Lukas and Melissa) loved it very much and want to thank Mimmo and Adriana for an amazing stay, we felt like at home. Location is very peaceful and very well maintained. For breakfast we had many options with the best cornetto and mozzarella in the world. Mimmo also was able to pack our breakfast because of our early flight home. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and tidy. We would love to come back again one day, thanks again for the stay!

I do not know where to start from. Sabrina is a super host, always available and ready to help, with lots of useful suggestions and tips. The house is perfect. It is a 2-minute drive to numerous beaches, with a beautiful garden, fully equipped and very comfortable. Half an hour drive to Salerno, from where you can go to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Naples, etc. What is especially enchanting is the incredible kindness of Sabrina and her father.

I should book few days more.

Amazing house and so peaceful place. We could sleep like a baby during our 3 nights of stays. We really needed it after nearly being burned out. Sabrina was a wonderful host who gave us a lot of tips to see the area. We loved the clean room and spacious balcony. Thanks for showing us her beautiful garden and the farm next to her house. It is really nice work.

It is a bit far from some facilities (meaning that it is not a walking distance), so vehicles are a must.

Amazing hosts, made us feel so welcome. Excellent location for beach and restaurants in a lovely quiet area. Great breakfast too!

Nothing, every thing was perfect

The place was fabulous! The pictures don't do it justice as this house is just gorgeous and Sabrina was the best host! Can't rate the place highly enough would love to go back and would reccomend to stay here.

The location was very secluded with taxis not readily available you will need a car.

We enjoyed everything! Sabrina, the owner is such a wonderful person! She, her husband and her dad had done everything in their power to make us feel like at home. We were welcomed by them with a large bowl of fruits from their own orchard which were awsomely tasty. They made us feel not like simply tourists, but like real guests of their own. The house and the garden were like a piece of heaven, so quiet, so beautifuly arranged. We had a patio in back only for us and two sunbeds. The appartement was very big and confortable. Also, the location is very close to the beach and a lot of tourist attraction.
