The location is excellent - a short walk from the train station, restaurants around the corner to the right and up the street to the left, small groceries nearby. Gelateria right across the street. :-) Firm mattress, hot water, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff.

There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, so be warned in the summer. Especially if you get a room at the front, overlooking the terrace. The general ambience noise is manageable, but this summer there were motorcyclists who vroomed and vroomed around every night, sometimes until 3 a.m. And with the heat, it wasn't possible to close the windows, so that was very disagreeable.

The location couldn’t be better in theory. And the staff were attentive and friendly and accommodating to one’s sketchy Italian. Firm mattress, substantial pillows, hot water: the holy trinity.

The location as of mid-to-late evening. There’s an amphitheater directly behind the hotel, and a concert almost every evening. The music was good - but in a hotel room I’m not looking for a concert, I’m looking for quiet comfort. Plus the internet was out of order the entire time I was there, a BIG negative. And that’s a shame, because outside the unplanned-for concerts, that was the only real drawback.

It’s centrally located, already a plus; the mattress was firm, multiple pillows of different thicknesses, the water was hot. But the best thing is the staff, who are friendly and solicitous and so very helpful, in Italian or in English.

The continental breakfast was okay, but not extraordinary.

Superb location, friendly staff, a time-warp of a hotel with decor from the 70s(?) adding to its charm but also limiting its comfort. Perfect for a night or two on our bike tour.

Some redecoration would be nice. Mattresses could be better...but I slept okay.

Location near train station was great! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant marvelous with an incredible chef. The town is adorable. This hotel grows on you. Simple things like the beautiful orchids, fresh croissants for breakfast, the old photos of the hotel were not noticed immediately but later we found charming.

This is an older hotel and the facilities reflect that, for example a small elevator and some touch up painting was needed. Also there was some noise late into the night because we kept the windows open due to no air conditioning. However the mountain sir was nice!

Nice family-run hotel and great hospitality. Client-focussed hotel with comfortable beds, good location (just a few minutes away from the railway station and own free parking spaces) and delicious restaurant.
