Great location. Beautiful well-kept grounds and garden. Peaceful sounds of singing birds, light breeze, and scent of honeysuckle. Spacious rooms, windows that allow in lots of light, large dining area, places to eat outside. Great place for a walk - we even walked down the dirt road with a bottle of wine and some cheese, introduced ourselves to our "neighbors" who were staying 300 m down the road, and enjoyed wine and conversation with them. This place invites you to relax into a time 50 years ago when life was slower, neighbors chatted, and the only ambient noise was birds and breezes. Our host Michele was very warm and welcoming. Siena is a short drive away.

Pool closed. Based on the fine print that said the pool would be open during our stay, we expected the pool to be open at the end of May. Few Italians would expect an outdoor pool to be open before July. But we are not only *not* Italians, we are outliers - we will swim in a glacier-fed bay. Always call to confirm. Mustiness allergy alert. This is stone villa. Our stay was at the end of May / beginning of June, after an *entire week* of rain. Be aware that older stone houses trend to smell musty after being shut up for a week during the rains and not having a chance to air out. Know before you go, and if one of your group suffers from allergy attacks, request an upper room. That said, I would absolutely come here again. This place is stunning and the host is really top class.

Lovely old mansion, we came in the evening when it was raining and lighting and we were alone that night so the vibe was so spooky since it is an old mansion. We loved it. The owner was very helpful and friendly, speaks english fluently. There were almost everything you need.

Wifi connection was pretty bad, also pretty close to the road so you can hear transport noise a little bit but that was not that bad. Also, host could leave some coffee.

The host were extremely friendly. Everything was as expected. The place was very nice and charming. Although there were other people, we often felt like we were there by ourselves.

We liked everything! Some small feedback: more trashbags would have been useful.

The location was lovely & peaceful & very close to the function we were attending. A clean swimming pool was much appreciated. The owners were very helpful & quick to respond when one of our party left an item behind.

Wonderful place. Great pool sourandered by lavender. There are a lot of outdoor places for all guests. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was just wonderful and great! The whole property is so beautiful and accommodations are great - living in historical walls at its finest! The hosts, Michele and Nina are so nice, friendly and helpful. This was by far one of my most beautiful and exceptional stays ever - really loved it and would come back any time!
