A fantastic old hotel that back in a day must've been top class. A comfy bed, top floor with a terrace with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and piazza Oberdan. A fridge, WiFi and even an air-con. A big and lush bathroom, with the most unique shower control I have ever seen. Reminds me of a joystick. You have to be very precise with it to get the desires shower temp. The reception informed us that as this is the first hot day of the year, the aircon is not yet turned on but 5 minutes later they've already sorted it all and turned the aircon on. Thanks signore receptionista !

Parking is supposed to be free in the front of the hotel but alas it is all full. Obviously Rieti has a lack of parking spaces. So I ended up driving around the block and parking in the underground garage. 14€ for overnight which I thought was a bit much for a place like Rieti. Another thing - the electric plugs can be a bit wobbly - in UK this would probably be an offence - in any case have your wits about you !

We loved the location. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was a nice break from being in Rome because it was NOT crowded. There were no other tourists so we pretty much had the location to ourselves. I liked the shower/bath combo, because most places we stayed had a shower small enough for a 2 x 4 board and this place had the combo which gave more room while bathing. We stayed at a big name hotel in Rome just before this location and we were a bit apprehensive as we parked on the street and went in, but after the reception person showed us the room and where breakfast is, and the restaurant, we were feeling more comfortable. The elevator will fit two suitcases and one person--it's small but it works! We slept well on the bed. The room has shutters inside that you can open/close. No screens but no bugs either. The window we had looked out to the main street but it was so quiet at night so we could leave the windows open. Breakfast in the morning consisted of a LOT of different foods, so you won't go hungry. Cappuccino or Americano too. It helps to have a translator on your phone or be able to speak a bit of Italian because most people we met did not speak English. There was an adorable gift shop just down the street from our room and the woman in the shop was so nice, speaking no English, but we had so much fun trying to figure out what each other was saying. There was also a little deli just a door or two away from the gift shop and the family was great. Their store is packed with anything you need for lunch or a snack. The restaurant at this hotel's location is absolutely AMAZING, service was spectacular, the food was so good, better than what we found in most of Rome. There is another restaurant/bar being redecorated just next door to this hotel and it looks so beautiful inside.

Petty but I didn't like the hair dryer in the room. I've never seen anything like it. It had a unit that was on the wall with a hose attached like a vacuum cleaner and it was ancient (?) I think, but it worked!

Nice boutique hotel with a comfortable bed.

The arrogancy of the reception person was not nice. He wanted to keep our ID-cards to check us in later, I asked him to make photocopies and give the ID-cards back immediately. The next day we discovered we had left an iPhone charger there, called several times for two days without any luck of having someone understand english. After many attempts an english speaking person told noone found it. Well, most probably noone looked for it! Or someone just got lucky.

A beautiful elegant old building in the heart of the city, bright spacious rooms, well laid out, very friendly and accommodating front desk staff, a generous breakfast buffet in a bright and pleasant dining room. Bed was comfortable, room and ensuite were clean and well appointed. Perfect for a couple, fabulous location near the main square, free on-street parking available right outside.

Nothing that I would change

We were upgraded to a suite, the staff was very friendly, breakfast is included, it is from 7 am to 9h30, we thought it is until 10 am so we went down to take breakfast at 9h45, the lady was very nice and accepted to serve us breakfast. The bed is very confortable 180 cm. Very good experience

Breakfast was excellent, location was perfect, hotel common areas were lovely, most of the staff was excellent and friendly. Rooms were nice. Hotel was very quiet. Beds were good.

We were promised 3 rooms with terrace. We got one room with terrace, and one on the floor below. The room with the terrace was nice but quite small. we tried to cancel one room as one of our group was too ill to travel, but we ended up paying for all 3 rooms. They did allow our driver to stay in the 3rd room our last night there so we could leave earlier in the day. Our main complaint was that they turned off the air conditioning during the night, and the room on the top floor was very hot. The hotel director seemed grumpy most of the time.

The location was great. Excellent value for money and very comfortable. Pleasant atmosphere.

The reception clerk seemed almost hostile. A smile would have been nice. Having said that, check in was efficient.

Location excellent c[ose to train station. Close to town and restaurants. Breakfast excellent.Room extremely clean and spotless. Bed super comfortable and English channels available. Staff extremely attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful stay.

Beautiful location in the heart of Rieti with a magnificent views. If you are looking for a Hilton, Sheraton super comfortable and accommodating experience look elsewhere, but if you want to have an authentic experience, this is a hotel for you. 

Location, stuff, the view.

Andrea or Andre at check in was excellent. Helped us with dinner reservations and great directions on need to see places.

5th floor with beautiful view but no AC. After a long day of hiking AC is nice but not a bust for this place. Great balcony.
