Excellent place for a vacation. Located directly on the beachfront, right after the beach itself. Entrance to the beach is free. However if you need a sunbed and an umbrella, it costs 20 euro a day for 2 sunbeds and umbrella, with discounts provided if you book 5 days or more in a row. The sea is quite shallow at the coast, which is great for families with kids. Beach is sandy, with a bunch of seashells entering the sea. Parking provided - if you're lucky, there are a bit of places right at the hotel. Otherwise you're provided with a parking card for a guarded outdoor parking just one block away from hotel. We paid for breakfasts and were happy with this decision: it was quite good, and we found something for ourselves and our child every day for 10 days straight. Staff was very nice and willing to help all the times. Rooms were cleaned every day. Except beach you can find a bunch of different shops and restaurants around, Zodiaco was the one we liked in particular and visited several times.

We didn't care about that, but if it's important for you - rooms weren't renovated for quite a while.

We had a wonderful week at Hotel de France! First of all, all the staff was amazingly welcoming and made our stay excellent. From reception to breakfast and bar to the cleaning ladies, the staff was all smiles, spoke english and was supportive allover. Grab your afternoon aperol at the bar and enjoy it at the pool if it's a cloudy day. The Location was also perfect, right at the beach and 1minute to Ristorante Lo Zodiaco (go there!). Make sure to book the Beachservice (2chairs, 1umbrella and towel as a present for only EUR13.-!) Breakfast was excellent too, all you would expect. The rooms have roller shutters instead of curtains so it was always quiet and total dark which we loved! We'll be back! Free parking included, either at the Hotel or at a huge parking spot, 5mins walking distance.

Nothing really to complain about, the rooms are typical oldschool italian flair and a bit small, but since you spend all day outside it really doesn't matter. The have bigger rooms as well. Bathroom was refurbished it seemed.

Very nice swimming pool outdoor, air conditioning that works, room cleaning was very good (every day), directly at the beach, free parking close to the hotel. However there was no empty spots available at the parking so we were offered another free parking that was 6 minutes away from hotel - almost no place to park close to hotel and streets are narrow and crowded with cars.

Hotel is very close to the beach, view to the sea is beautiful. I appreciate parking place and also swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic as well as personnel. If I visit Rimini in the future, I will accommodate again in Hotel de France.

Very nice hotel, everyone did their best to satisfy our needs and to make us feel comfortable. Very thankful! Very good breakfast and very nice women served us! When we arrived in our room the air conditioning had a problem and we were asked to switch to a another room which had sea view and jacuzzi in the bathtub. It was wonderful to be able to sit at the balcony and enjoy the sea, when it was raining we could stay at the balcony as well and enjoy. No mosquitos, we could stay with open doors until late at night, which was very nice. The sound proof from outside was very good, when we closed the balcony door we could not hear outside noise. Very good cleaning every day of the room, towel and bedding change was often. My daughter really enjoyed the pool! The pool and the pool area are very clean and enjoyable even it was on the road where car were driving. The beach is clean and well kept, we had to pay for umbrella and sun beds. Nice walking path, lots of places to eat, shops. We visited few nice cities around. It is a place where you can combine beach and cities view! Loved it!

I would prefer more furniture in the room, like chairs and dressers. For 3 people in one room was too tight, but not bad. It was not a big problem. The good thing is that there were a lot of hangers in the wardrobe, that helped.

Good and friendly stuff 💜, decent breakfast, good location, good room with lovely beautiful view of sea.
