This hotel is perfect for early departures from Ronchi Airport in Trieste Italy. The staff was kind enough to have breakfast ready for us by 4:30 so that we can have something before heading to the airport at 5. The hotel also arranged a driver to take us to the airport at 5 for 21 euros for the run. Our flight to Frankfort boarded at 6:15 and we had comfortable amount of time to get to our gate. We love our room. More spacious than an average European room. Enough space to spread our bags out to repack. Love the fact that we had a couch to sit on even though the only television was in front of the bed. The property is within 5 minutes walk and there is a supermarket next door of you’re looking for food. But honestly the restaurant in the hotel was delicious and reasonable. We will definitely stay here again.

If I have to pick on something, I would have to say that there are two minor things that need improvement. One thing is that there is a beautiful couch in our room for sitting but the television is in front of the bed. It would be nice to be able to watch the television sitting on the couch. The other thing is that they need some type of ramp to get down to the lobby from the parking area.

This hotel is super convenient if you have an early flight out of Trieste or a very late arrival. The hotel staff was very kind, efficient and friendly. Parking is right next to the hotel and free! When we arrived exhausted from a busy sightseeing day in Trieste, we were able to have a delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the hotel dining room. Plus, football/soccer on the TV while we ate. :). We were very well cared for by the hotel team - as if we were guests in their own homes. The hotel room was very clean with the no frills, basics of what we needed for a good night's rest. We did not need an advanced degree to figure out the lights in the room or the air conditioning- which we appreciated. If we fly in or out of the Trieste airport again, we would definitely stay here.

The hotel is a little tricky to find. Just follow the google maps directions slowly and stay to the right on the entrance ramps, they are all two-way traffic! We took a wrong turn but ended up by the Esso gas station and went ahead and fueled up for the rental car return, while we were there. The beds were a little firm, but we both slept like rocks.

Hotel Major is only approximately 2km from Trieste Airport so very useful for a late arrival before travelling further. Hotel was clean, comfortable and modern with a small buffet breakfast in the morning so couldn’t ask for anymore. Very good value for what it offers

We only had a short overnight stay leaving at 4.45am. The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful and considerate and arranged a simple breakfast for an early checkout Bedroom was good and the hotel was clean

It is located close to the airport on an industrial / commercial estate but is still quiet. It is ideally located for the airport No fundamental dislikes

Our room was spacious, though the air conditioner was struggling. Breakfast was very good, very varied and plentiful.

Air conditioning was weak, and our room finally cooled off only during the night. Front desk person called a non-local taxi for us to get to the airport, who charged an exorbitant amount as fare. Why didn't he call a local?? We ended up paying way too much.

Simple breakfast..bread,pastry, cheese and sliced deli meats plus yogurts and various cold cereal. Also nice assortment tea. Coffee and juice machines but no eggs or pancakes. Very close to airport but taxi charged 25 Euros..seemed too costly for such short trip. Large supermarket next door to hotel..picked up some prepared food and ate lunch on picnic table outside front of hotel as restaurant did not open until 7:30 pm

I arrived very late, but checking in was no problem and the receptionist gladly gave me a drink at the bar. Very nice people, nice and large room. And everything was clean and smooth.

I had breakfast included. It was 'ok', but not the best and most elaborated breakfast I ever had. Buffet could have been a bit more.

Staff was friendly; there's a police station in the bottom floor, so we felt very safe! Breakfast was wonderful. It was very quiet. Best of all, it's a very short drive to the Trieste airport.

The lobby has been updated; the upstairs is a bit older, but still clean and neat.

Great experience staying at Hotel Major. Everyday I was greeted by the staff with big smiles and they were very accommodating and kind(thank you to Valentina and Suzie). The food at the restaurant was amazing, everyday they had a different menu so lots of variety. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel has a gym and good parking facilities. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

It was very nice and clean and we had a very nice room. We also had the most exceptionally helpful staff member Alex who was so very helpful as we arrived late at night after a three hour delay to our flight. Thank you Alex!
