We stayed there for one night while driving from Belgrade to Sanremo. It's a perfect spot right in the middle of the route. The dinner was nice, but we liked the breakfast even more. It had an interesting selection of local cheeses, and their omelette is something special. As an architect, I also appreciated the quality of the room and the natural materials used: wooden floors, windows, classic wooden furniture, natural stone, high ceilings, a large bed, a spacious shower, and the list goes on. The internal territory is cosy, clean, and well-maintained, with a large parking lot. The surrounding villages and the region in general are also quite lovely. I can definitely recommend this place.

I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality of the Devetak family, who made us feel at home. The food was outstanding, featuring delicious local ingredients from the Carso region. The property is also very accessible, with facilities accommodating wheelchairs and electric vehicles. Their love for their family history and dogs adds a special touch.

We had a great stay! It’s truly unbeatable to have a high-class restaurant right next door to the hotel room. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner there - the cooking was superb and the wine selection excellent.

It was family run and in a leafy, quiet location with beautiful plants. Everything was well looked after. Old furniture combined with modern touches, beds very comfortable, bathroom excellent. Delicious dinner with incredible selection of wines and spirits.

Everything just perfect, very clean beautiful picturesque place, in a lovely village beside the Slovenian border. A place run by an amazing family.

the food and the wine list of the attached restaurant is amazing. I had the best meal of my entire trip there. The included breakfast is amazing too.

This is a gem. The rooms are very new, clean, with everything you need. Breakfast buffet is mind blowing, with a great variety of local delicacies. But the highlight is the dinner at the locanda. If you book a night, don't forget to stay for dinner. Check out the restaurant, one of the best I've ever been, with local cuisine and an embarrassing choice of wine. A true pleasure

The staff and owner of this place are amazing could not do enough to help me.The food is of a high standard the breakfast had a great selection of different cheeses meat bread and granola pots.I will 100% be back next year and the place is in a lovely area near the Izonzo river.

Honestly not one think

The breakfast was very good. We also had the chance of having dinner in the restaurant, we tried the 5 dishes menu which was delicious and we tasted great wines too! A familiar place with engaged people that want to offer their guests the best experience as possible.

Absolutely wonderful small hotel - set in the countryside with excellent authentic restaurant. Dinner was delightful.
