Location of the castle, golf course nearby. It was a stunning location, green, peaceful with beautiful views. However guest service needs improvement as well as room cleaning. AC didn’t work well in the room and beds are pillows were not comfortable. It was surprising to find out that access to the pool was at extra charge per person. Not what you expect for the price you pay.

Authentic castle surrounded by beautiful green private land - I loved the scenery outdoors and it is worth the visit. Quick check in and out. Epoque furniture and ambience. Quiet. Convenient location for trips from east to Italy. Very very good restaurant.

My room came equipped with a swarm of mosquitos. I managed to kill 5-6 leaving another few to fiest on us at night. No nets on the windows due to architecture leads to this issue. Traces of dead insects on the room walls and ceiling. Bathroom a bit worn out. Matress is average. Still, it sounds worse than it actually is - I would stay there again.

Beautiful surroundings, with nice restaurants around. Very clean room, huge bed and friendly staff.

It’s still in the time of the castle inside in the room, so it feels quite old, outdated. Hot water system is probably the same, take ages to get hot water for the shower. Breakfast is average. Walls are very thin so as soon as you have a family with kids, you’ll heart them running and shouting around in the corridor.

Historical restored castle were Giacomo Casanova stayed for awhile. Fascinating interior and beautiful garden where I could take a nice stroll. Breakfast was generous and had quite a lot of choices. Being far from everything and on Christmas night, with only another family staying, it was very quiet, total bliss. Also I appreciated the cuisine of the Hosteria del Castello, which is few meters away, recommended.

A great location, with great environment to visit the region and not far from Slovenia. A great gold as well. Restaurants and breakfast are great with lovely staff. Great wine to choose from, to taste and buy as well.

Magical place, beautiful castle, wonderful gardens..The food is amazing, same as vines 😊 Peaceful place to relax and feed your soul

No room service after 21 o clock so be sure to bring some food with you in case you’re going to be hungry. No snacks in mini bar, no coffee machine or kettle to make some tea or coffee

The property was spectacular, the only bad thing was that we had only booked one night. Could have stayed forever. Everything was perfect.

Every thing about this place was spectacular. Three restaurants on the property. A golf course .vineyards ,And beautiful surroundings.

Felt that check in staff did not explain the facilities available, like wine tasting and spa. The decor in the rooms was very dated and not to our taste
