Hello everyone, the stay at the Albergho Bartoli was sensational. This lovely place is like from a movie! There are not too many hotels left like this one. Original, picturesque, beautiful ! The room was extremely clean, new bathroom, all very functional. Mattress perfectly firm. Ladies at this hotel are warm, professional, helpful any way. The location of this Albergho Bartoli hotel is right in the center of Castiglioncello, which is a lovely town with own castle and romantic pine park with a merry-go-round. Access to the beach is few meters down, and approximately 30 stairs. Sea is clean and public beach smaller like in other small towns. With a bar nearby. I wished I could had stayed longer. Everything - very positive: location - very good, room - very good, views - very nice, breakfast - very delicious. And - the best of the best were the ladies at the reception, who behaved like a loving and caring family. Thank you so much! Our highest recommendations!

The property was a pension and was like being a guest in an amazing home with wonderful hosts. Breakfast was also incredible. What a way to start the day. And then a short walk to the sandy beach. And even shorter walk to stores and restaurants. We would definitely come back.

My partner found the bed to be uncomfortable but most likely due to hip issues. I thought the bed was fine but not super comfortable

We unfortunately had to leave early in the morning, but everything about the place was great. Old historic building, family run, and extremely friendly people. Walking distance to the train station, and we actually walked from the Marina to the hotel in the evening - it was fun, and lots of restaurants and cafes along the way. Would have loved to explore this part of Italy more.

Everything about this hotel is so lovely. It's family owned and very loving. They took care of me as soon as I entered the room. They let me move rooms because I needed a desk. The breakast was delicious. They let me keep my car there so I could go to the beach. The place is beautiful and peaceful. It's a great hidden getaway.

The property is lovely and classic. The atmosphere is great. The rooms are very clean and good size. The owners/staff are so nice and very helpful. Great location, very close to a "city center", the train station and the best beach in the area. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! It was truly authentic Italian, breakfast was delicious, location was perfect and staff were very lovely and helpful.

We visited during peak summer, so the room was quite hot (no AC as advertised) but the staff gave us fans which helped alot!

The decor and furniture in the hall and common areas were very stylish and cozy at the same time. All in style with the architecture of Albergo Pensione Bartoli and with the antique surrounding homes and buildings.The beach was very close and transportations too.

The people there are so nice! The atmosphere and location is perfect

view from the window is amazing. ladies working at reception veey helpfull. many restaurants around. very nice town without many tourists.

bed could be upgrader to newer one. we are a tall couple so bed in general is short but this one is metal old school. it was not a deal braker for us though just a sweer smile :)
