We were welcomed by our hosts, happy they could meet us in the street to tell us where to take the car for the off street parking. We were able to check in early, which was very much appreciated, and it was a very easy wander to the local beach where we spent a very pleasant afternoon. Salerno was a pleasant surprise to us, definitely not the vibe of Amalfi Coast, but a lovely calm beach with a number of restaurant choices available for us within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, a comfortable bed and suprisingly quiet. Breakfast was laid out for self help the next morning. It was great to have an elevator to get our bags to and from this 6th floor room.

Lisa was great in meeting us and showing us the parking area behind the building. She was also exceptional at explaining the area to us and suggesting where to do laundry, have dinner, etc.. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the heart of Salerno, you’d be happy here.

We are from the US and have a very soft and comfortable bed, and all of the places we’ve stayed this far l, we have found the bedding is a bit stiffer than we’d like.

Wowow. Lisa and Gianpiero are superhosts! Incredible communication, thoughtful touches down to the last detail, and great tips! Forget about staying in any other BNB. Lisa and Gianpiero are the warmest and friendliest hosts we've met. Check-in was a breeze, and we were fortunate enough to have a carpark too. Location is 10/10 and close to all the amenities you could need, you feel like you get a taste for the real Salerno. It was peaceful (yet you're in the city), and easy to navigate with incredible views of the beach from the balcony in the common area where you have breakfast. Lisa and Gianpiero made their place feel like home away from home. They renovated the property with a BNB in mind (it was their dream), and it really shows! Wonderful spacious rooms, with very cool lighting in the huge shower! Lisa was sweet and even gave us an Acquasalata tote bag too! I seriously cannot recommend Acquasalata enough, you won't regret it. Don't waste your time booking with anyone else! We will definitely be back!

Staying here was a very nice experience. The room and bed were quiet, clean and comfortable. I loved the complimentary cloth shopping bag and the extra little things that made this stay so nice. Lisa, our host, was very attentive, helping us park our car close to our building and giving us a short tour of the facility. The breakfast and coffee were very good with variety of choices. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk and very pretty. I feel that Aquasalata B and B is a treasure and we hope to visit again soon !

Lisa was a wonderful host - she personally greeted us at the main entrance. She gave us a lot of useful information for our stay in Salerno. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was very nice. The location was excellent - close to the attractions. My wife and I would highly recommend this B&B. We plan to return to Salerno and stay here next year.

We liked everything - there is nothing to change

We appreciated the atmosphere and comfort of this B & B. Lisa is very welcoming and loves her place, and accommodation guests. Being on the beach and providing free parking were added bonuses. Parking can be a problem in this part of the world. The room was exceptional.

Our stay was too short. Salerno is conveniently located half way between Florence to Taormina, by car, so we booked a one-night stay over. A longer stay would have been better.

The careful attention that is given to each and every detail so that your stay is wonderful. Gianpiero, the owner, is a genuine sweetheart who is always available for sharing a good advice/ important information. Tip: if you wish to arrive straight into the parking the address is: via Lungomare Colonbo 111, Salerno - the photo is what you find on the sighnpost.

Absolutely nothing!

Very nice apartment with great view. It's nicely decorated, spacious (the bathroom, too) and the bed was comfortable. Good wi-fi. Breakfast is standard fare (coffee, juice, cereal, toast, cheese, cold cuts, croissants). The owners are very nice, gave us good tips about the area and respond quickly. There is free parking at the back of the building and a train station fairly close. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit the area.

We liked everything.

Only three rooms there, so this place is as small as it can be. We had the room with sea view and balcony, which was very comfortable and clean. While there is usually no staff in the place, both check-in and check-out were very easy and Gianpiero and Lisa were very helpful with everything. There is parking in the facility, which was very convenient, and local train station is only 5 - 6 minutes walk.

The only "but" was a too noisy fan in the bathroom, starting everytime the bathrooom light was switched on.

It is super super clean. The room is really big, the mattress and the pillows are very comfortable. It feels like you’re in a 5 star hotel!! The bathroom is huge and again very clean and comfortable. I loved that breakfast is included and is self service. The croissants were soooooooo good! There is more than enough parking spots in the area but the building also has a specific parking for you to leave the car. The host was very very nice and gave us really good recommendations.
