I had been in Salerno already for one week and found this place for the remaining two days I needed. Dario is a considerate host who seems genuinly happy to look out after his visitors. Location wise, it's a longer walk (25-40min) from the centre or a short bus trip with the bus stop just across the building where you can also get tickets. Some of the places in the city centre, although conveniently located in the historical centre, can be a bit noisy from the popular streets. At this place that wasn't the case. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Our host Dario was the most accommodating gentleman we have met in a long time. He helped us with the details and directions of our day adventures to Pompeii and Amalfi. Each morning we were greeted with delicious fresh pastries and cappuccino for our breakfast. We arrived as strangers but he made us feel like family. Salerno is a great place to stay if you prefer a less touristy accommodation but to close to “attractions” such as Amalfie Coast, Positano, Vesuvius , Pompeii. We traveled to Almalfi Coast by ferry and Pompeii by train. B&B Lambda is in a safe family neighborhood with easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Make sure Dario gives you the name of the best gelato shop in southern Italy.

We had a great stay at B&B Lambda and our host Dario made us feel very welcome. His kindness and help in collecting from the station, providing recommendations on places to visit, local restaurants, directions, ticket and travel advice, made it easy to get the most out of each day exploring Salerno, Amalfi, Ravello, Naples, Pompeii and Paestum. Our room was lovely, very clean bright and comfortable, and we enjoyed breakfast trying different fresh pastries each day, all delicious! Thanks again Dario, we hope to return.

The B&B Lambda is in the lovely little town of Salerno. We were very happy to be there as it's super well located for visiting local towns. Our host Dario was extremely helpful in assisting us with getting around by sending us information while we were touring areas and making us wonderful coffee for breakfast and croissants and pastries. He really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and the cleanliness of the place was so refreshing. I would definitely recommend people to go to the B&B Lambda as well as stay in Salerno as it's not very touristy and still has the authentic feel of Italy

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, making our experience truly memorable. We're grateful for hospitality of Dario and the helpful recommendations, he said every details where to go, to eat, to visit, to get something. And the location of The B&B Lambda is very good, near the beach and the Salerno is perfect for staying. Our stay was absolutely delightful! Highly recommend!

The room is spotlessly clean and well-prepared. The location is nice, only 8min by walking from train station. Salerno is a small town, which we can enjoy the authentic Italian vibe, and stay away from touristy crowds. The most amazing is our host - Dario. He makes us feel warm-welcoming and he always goes beyond to make our stay more comfortable. We love his recommendations about where to visit, which restaurants to eat. We have opportunities to enjoy the most authentic Italian towns and foods. Thanks to him, this trip is our most amazing trip ever! Definitely we will comeback :)

We had such an amazing stay here!! Dario was such an incredible host, so kind and friendly and really went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay in his B&B. He gave us lots of really helpful recommendations for things to do in the area, great food recommendations and helped us get bus tickets to travel to Amalfi. The room itself was really lovely and clean and had air conditioning, with a spacious bathroom and lovely view from the balcony. The beach is less than 5 mins walk from the apartment which was really handy. Could not recommend enough!

Everything was amazing.

Our host Dario was always attentive to our needs, breakfast was always punctual and delicious. His direction and advice were essential to meet our trip's goals... we were able to do alot in two days...traveled to Capri, and to the Amalfi Coast and we will continue to Pompeii. Darious also shared with us really great restaurant locations. Hope to come back to Salerno as we now have a friend to visit. Highly recommend Lambda.

The BnB located in a strategic location with many good restaurants, convenience store, and pharmacy close by. Our room was large and spotless! We got great recommendations from our super host, Dario. He is very attentive to our needs and went extramiles to ensure we have a splendid holiday. Thank you so much Dario! I would recommend to anyone who visit Amalfi to have Salerno as homebase and definitely stay in Dario's place. Will be back for more. Arrivederci!

Very friendly host, Dario. He greeted us kindly at the station. Provided all possible useful information on the organization of recreation and excursions. He provided all kinds of support in this. The hotel room is very cozy and comfortable. The sea is very close to the hotel. Public transport links are very close to the B&B. Dario pleasantly surprised us with delicious pastries for breakfast every day and traditional limnchella in the evening. We recommend everyone to spend their holidays in this beautiful hotel. And hope to see you at the B&B next year!
