The room is very well thought - not very big, but very well organized. Location is perfect for commute: bus station just across the street, less than 10 minutes from railroad terminal, some 10-15 minutes to the tourist port with ferries to smaller towns and villages along the coast. In less than 5 minutes walk radius there's a grocery, a pizzeria, a café, and a couple of restaurants. The contact person, Marco, is absolutely fantastic -- very friendly (like all other staff as well), very eager to help, and very knowledgeable. We've got tons of recommendations from him: where to eat, where to buy stuff, where to do laundry, where to travel, etc.

The breakfast included is a voucher for the café approx. 5 minutes away, which is not very far, but you have to cross a rather busy street. As a result, we never went to that place...

The property was outstanding and beyond our expectations. The host Marco is a absolutely a gem person, very friendly and his hospitality was the best we have seen till date. He helped picking my baggage on the stairs as it was heavy and also shared some useful tips and info regarding local travel and food options. He was very attentive on whatsapp as well. The room has everything you need right from kitchen, fridge sofa, chairs, AC etc. And the best part is the sea view from the balcony. There is also a grocery store below the building.

Most of all our host was welcoming and helping us very well, which is really helpful to know the information about traveling around the southern Italy! The ocean view was so nice and location is good to take a ferry or train and the kitchen is well equipped with cultery. There is also a big supermarket right below this b&b, so easy to get grocery for breakfast or a bottle of wine!

- large, clean apartment with balcony and seaview - the host (Marco) was very friendly and tried to help us with everything (so the not-so-positive things bellow are not related to him, but to the owners, maybe they will update the information on booking) - walking distance to the turistic port where you can find a lot of very nice restaurants with amazing food - fully equipped kitchen

- for the breakfast you have to leave the apartment and walk to a near by coffee shop where you will get, based upon a voucher, a coffee and a croissant - as the apartment is located at the 5th floor, and the elevator is after you have to take 25/30 stairs (equivalent to two floors) - it could be a challenge if you have luggage and a baby stroller - there is no parking around the location - you either leave the car at your own risk on the street or you have to find a parking somewhere else

Very comfortable stay and Marco the host was very helpful and informative. Great bed and wi-fi. Good views of sea. Right next to a supermarket. A few good restaurants nearby. Street parking or paid parking lot right near by for your car (just need lots of €1 or 0.50). Was able to get an earlier checkin which was great. Close to main Marina that all cruse boats go from for Amalfi, Isle of Capri or Positano.

Breakfast not worth paying for. Can get own from local supermarket.

Excelent place to stay, clean, very close to the train station. Supermarket very close. Marco was very nice and helpful, he gave us good restaurant recomandations.

Some small problems with these: the bathroom sink and there was water leaking from the freezer in the fridge. Also, it would be useful a washing machine, if you stay more than 5 days. These things would make Salsedine a 10 of the 10 place. I would love to come back :)

The apartment is located near the bus and train station. There is an elevator in the house. Nice view of the sea. Cleanliness of the apartment. Sufficient amount of towels.

The host was a very pleasant man, but he exaggerated it even for an Italian. On vacation you especially want to rest and not constantly answer and solve the host's questions and offers.

Has a great ocean view and pretty good location plenty of bars and restaurants close by and less than 10min walk to the train station. It’s easy to find and Marco was great on check in he is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area giving us great recommendations on things to do and best places to eat.

A very clean apartment with a superb balcony with a lovely view of the sea, 5 to 10 minutes from the bus station and 15 to 20 minutes from the train or ferry. Salerno is a great place to use as a base to see the amalfi coast and pompeii. Host was great and answered very quickly to any enquiry. Totally recommend for a stay in salerno. Had a great holiday

Nothing to dislike everything was great

The location of Salsedine is very convenient, its 10 mins away both from the main train station as well as from Piazza Concordia which has the Travelmar Ferry that takes you to Positano or Amalfi. In addition, should you be in a rush and need to dine at a restaurant, 2 mins away there is the Granammare Restaurant that has amazing Pizza. In terms of the apartment, it was very clean, it had a very nice view, the bed was super comfortable and the windows were big and let in a nice breeze, there was no need to switch on the AC (although I also had trouble making it work!). The windows also had great shutter blinds for privacy. All in a all it was a great apartment and close enough to all amenities (even a basketball/ tennis court/ running track if you'd like to stay consistent with fitness needs). Also the elevator was one of those old elevators, it worked well and was super silent, it was very nostalgic.

There was construction but that is not at the fault of the apartment's owner, hopefully by the time someone else visits it, constuction will have finished. In addition, it would be great when arriving to the apartment for the first time, the owner sends a picture of what the entrance looks like. As it was a bit confusing when using Google Maps.
