This is a wonderful place if you like peace & quiet. The rooms are comfortable,’ and even though it was too cold for us to use it, the big pool is a huge plus. Food and wines were delicious. Nothing fancy, but just really good. Staff is fantastic and very welcoming, you can feel they try to do everything that is in their power, but that there are probably some management issues that limit what they can do.

There’s nothing we particularly disliked, but just a few suggestions for the management (again, the staff is great and do everything possible to help you out!) to take the place to a higher level: - be a bit more welcoming at arrival: get up some signs indicating the reception and/or a phone number to call upon arrival - equip all rooms with a small welcome note/an overview of the most important info: breakfast times, who to go to in case of questions, maybe also the menu for dinner that night - improve the breakfast offer, because that was very limited and on the third day the exact same cake (as in we got 3 day old cake on day three) as on day 1 was used

Breakfast was very suitable, staff were friendly, the pool was great considering the 39c temperature, The room worked fine for us. The stand-out were the two multi-course dinners we enjoyed eating in the dining room, and supported by excellent wines from their own production. The meals were prepared by chef Anton ... they exceeded any expectation we had, using fresh local produce from the farm and beautifully prepared and presented. And another tick to Anton ... he was the only person on site to speak English.

Whilst the pre-arrival communication met our needs, none of the staff spoke English (with exception of Anton, and when Alberto visited). This is itself wouldn't have been overwhelming but there was absolutely no written material about the room, the stay, what to expect, was the water potable, what could one visit in the surrounding area that they could recommend, etc. An information sheet in English would have resolved our uncertainty. The grounds would be excellent but for a bit more care and attention to weeds and watering.

The friendliness of the Owners and of Leo the Manager was exceptional. The evening meals cooked and served by Leo were exceptional as was the wine from the family estate..................perfect.

The location of the property was a little remote but I knew that when I booked. Lucera was a convenient 15 minute drive but everywhere else was a bit of a trek.

The facility was BEAUTIFUL! The breakfast and dinner were fantastic. The pool area was majestic. The staff was attentive and kind. This was a FANTASTIC experience--especially for the price!

The check in and check out process could have gone a bit smoother, but no real complaints!

This masseria is exceptionally calm and beautiful - it has a courtyard with an amazing pool and it’s possible to taste all the products that are produced by Alberto Longo’s family (among which very good wines). Our room was clean and spacious and it had a nice terrace facing the pool. The masseria is close to many beautiful places in the Gargano area, both in the hinterland and on the coast.

Beautiful masseria, renovated with a very good taste! Nice and familiar. The swimming pool is pretty big and stylish. Also the dinner was nice. The soul of the hotel is Stefania!

The internet and television in the room did not work and they could not fix it. We came back after six days for one night and it was still not working. Also this time, the room was not done and nobody except Stefania seem to care

We stayed out of season and booked last minute, so it was very quiet. Leonardo, the chef, was very friendly, and his food was great using local produce from the area. His wine recommendation was great, too!

You really need a car to get here. It felt a bit remote.

Great place to stay while you travel in south cost of Italy, far from crowded tourist spots. Great pool with beautiful view and good wine. Place great for couples and families. Service is excellent!!

The hotel was beautiful. Fabulously converted grand agricultural building with lots of charm and spacious communal areas to enjoy. Beautiful brick floors, vaulted ceilings and antique furniture throughout. We had two interconnected rooms for our family of five and they were very comfortable. The pool was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. We also had a meal in the evening which was all freshly prepared using ingredients from the masseria and it was delicious. They also had great wines in their cellar. We bought a few bottles to take away. We would definitely like to return.

It's 30 minutes or one hour to get to the beach deciding on which you choose.

We really liked the charm of the property. We spent two nights there to explore the area of Gargano, which we could really recommend. The staff was very kind and engaged.

Communication was a bit complicated as no one could speak English (despite our day of departure). We booked this hotel as we like wineries and we hoped to learn more about their wines and production during our stay, which was not possible due to the language barrier. The pool was not working and no body informed us before we arrived. The food was okay for the price but nothing special.
