The location of the appartment is great, especially when it is not cloudy. The food is great as well and the pool with a view is lovely. With regard to the room itself, we were happy that we could make a shift to a room with a view on the hill.

There was no airconditioning available in the room, therefore it was especially warm in the room during night times. Unfortunately, we were not informed in advance that the spa services were not available on location until high season. Which was a bit unfortunate as this came as a surprise. But further than that, we had a great stay with nice staff.

The location was amazing, the view from the pool stunning! Overall the venue is very nice and it is quite a relaxing place. Big comfy rooms and very nice service. We were able to come in earlier and stay a little bit later and enjoy the pool.

The breakfast was very poor. If you wanted something nicer (e.g. scrambled eggs, pancakes), you had to pay extra. Same goes for fresh beach towels, you had to pay extra if you wanted them to be changed. Given the price of the stay, I would have expected this to be free. I don't know the situation of the other rooms, but in ours you couldn't really close the bathroom door fully.

The view from breakfast is sensational and the whole design is gorgeous. Parking is on property and driving around the area - Zingaro Nature Reserve around the corner - lovely. The rooms are spacious and have a great design, amenities all great as well

Its no big deal but the window is the door - during the day you wont be able to let fresh air inside but its also because of the allover wine cellar design of the property

Food was good overall. The staff was warm, and accommodating without being intrusive. The design of the hotel had an appealing mix of rustic stone and rust bloomed steel, and floor to ceiling glass in the public spaces showing off the spectacular view. The hotel was built using the stone structures of an old farm, mixing the decor with contemporary design, and efficiency. The infinity pool was gorgeous and the water was quite cool and refreshing against the hot sun. The landscape is arid, high, and overlooking the sea, with lush plantings that were constantly being tended throughout the resorts property. Baglio La Porta is adjacent to La Zingara park reserve where there is a beach a few minutes drive from the hotel, where the sea is warm and tranquil. Double bed-type couches surrounded the pool and on platforms off to the side were some private areas, all with umbrellas for shade.

Our stay included breakfast and dinner. The food was quite good, although for someone staying for four days a bit more variety in the daily menu choices and at breakfast would be a welcome improvement. One beach towel was assigned for the entire stay, if you wanted a fresh one it would cost 3 euro. The bed pillows were moldable foam, and they were hot and uncomfortable. We found these used all over Sicily? Reached by winding roads, this was not the best base for touring around the area, or having dinner with wine in town, but a great spot for cooling your jets and relaxing for several days.

The hotel is a paradise. The architecture, the garden design, the decoration and the view are very special. The staff are very friendly and they makes you feel like at home. This is the place to stay If you are looking for calm and well-being in a true haven. I loved the detox breakfast based on the property's organic products. The lunch and dinners are the bests, its a small menu and all perfect. Its a real luxury in the nature. Its located few minutes by car from Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro where i saw the most beautiful little beaches. The beds are quite comfortable.

The place is located in a beautiful spot away from the crowd of San Vito lo capo. It is an ancient Baglio carefully renovated with a spectacular view of the mountains and see. They have a restaurant on site and a pool area with very comfortable beds. A bar is available during the day to order drinks or food. Receptionist very kind and welcoming!

Illumination in our room was a bit poor also the bed was not a king size but created by two single beds connected (if they were more comfortable I wouldn’t be bothered by that). The pool is quite small to accommodate 40 people (the hotel has 20 rooms in total) but if you are lucky you can get a great spot for bed and umbrella. Family with small kids shouldn’t be allowed.

Location is amazing. Facilities are very nice , functional and of very good taste decoration : "quiet luxury". Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is very balanced and fresh .

The experience is mostly great. I would recommend just to fix the admin as both here and at the other Geofarm in Cefalu - very good too - there was unpleasant mis booking or miscalculation with the reservation and bill. Apparently a technical error with Booking.com

We were originally going to stay at some other property in San Vito lo Capo - and the other ones cancelled our reservation alleging double booking as we were driving there to check in. We ended up staying at Baguio La Porta instead - and boy are we happy to have been left stranded by the other hotel! The hotel itself was impeccable. The drive there felt surreal. The actual place was way beyond our expectations. We were there for two days, but I honestly wish we had stayed for a whole month. The rooms were amazing, the pool area was fantastic, the staff were very helpful, breakfast was simple but amazing… I cannot recommend this enough.

We were traveling as a family - with two young children (4 year old and 9 month old!). There were no restrictions on being there with kids (and later we found out there were more families with children) but everything had a relaxing spa feeling, and it was all very quiet until we got there =D It’s not something I didn’t like - and it was actually my fault - but I did feel like happy kids playing at the pool was not really in sync with the vibe of the rest of the guests at the hotel.

Beautiful hillside location that allows you to get away from the very crowded San Vito lo Capo but only 10-15 mins away We did half board so had a very nice breakfast and either lunch or dinner included. We ended up having a third meal there on two occasions as the food is so delicious. I regret not asking for a cooking lesson to learn how to make their paccheri pasta with pistachio and red prawns (ps no idea if they offer that!) The pool is small, but it gets shade which in 42C heat meant it was a very nice temperature and frankly a welcome relief Beautiful features and well designed we booked very last minute as our flight was cancelled and we had to stay in Sicily for extra days, but this made it very pleasant

The stairs to our daughters’ suite were frankly dangerous - they need some kind of railing / warning. I wouldn’t put an old or inflexible person in that room. Having said that two of the teenagers did fall down the stairs but they’re bouncy at that age 

Gorgeous scenic location and very chic renovated old villa. It’s a bit of a drive to town for dining out but it’s a quiet drive and very scenic. The meals at the hotel are excellent and it’s great to just eat there.
