We stayed only one night, but everything was great. The hosts were very kind and welcoming – we felt at home right away. After a stressful time in Rome, this place was the perfect spot to relax. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. The hosts let us park the car in their locked yard, and after check-out, we could safely leave our luggage there for the whole day. If you're staying here, make sure to try the homemade lemon ice cream and lemon jam in their lovely garden – so good! If you’re lucky, you might also hear some live guitar music, so sweet❤️ Thank you to the hosts for the warm welcome and care – we really appreciated it!

Buonocore Rooms is like an oasis in the middle of a vibrant, safe, family-friendly neighbourhood. The owner is exceptionally kind, courteous and just like her namesake has a great heart. She welcomed us with open arms, showed us around her beautiful garden, and let us pick a lemon off her tree for scent in the room. She was full of advice on where to go for dinner nearby, let us use her outside table when we brought food from a nearby panini take-out, then brought out some of her homemade delectable limoncello to share with us. Her son and daughter came by and were friendly, welcoming and informative, talking about Italian culture. Lovely lovely family. The room we stayed in was straight out of the sound of music, majestic vaulted ceilings, gorgeous and spacious room, with a balcony opening up onto the quaint busy neighbourhood street. Even with the balcony doors open it wasn't noisy, and when we closed the doors for the night, it was completely silent, allowing us a restful sleep in comfortable beds, extra blankets and pillows, and space for all five of us. The next morning, we were spoiled with a hearty breakfast in a lovely room off the garden, with a delicious home made cake, a variety of pastries, croissants, cookies, cheese, fruit, veggies, and excellent coffee. I highly recommend Buonocore Rooms and will definitely book with them when we go back to visit Pompeii again. Thank you again!

I cannot think of a single thing that would have made our stay better. After the chaos of driving up the tiny alley streets of Italy, arriving here was like arriving home, an oasis in the chaos.

Such a beautiful welcoming family. The setting was exceptional, overlooking the Lattari Mountains set in a traditional village, Santa Maria La clarità. The b&b is set in a beautiful working garden with chickens, fruit and vegetables. The accommodation is clean and smart. Large rooms with balconies and private bathrooms. Shared fridge between the 4 rooms. Breakfast room with coffee machine, kettle, snacks, home cooked fresh cakes and pastries for breakfast. The family were happy for me to pick fresh mint to use in my tea. Really friendly cat. Loved getting to know the family a little and feel like we were at home. There was secure parking for our hire car. The village has everything you need. Perfect location for our trips to Vesuvius, Pompeii, the Lattari Mountains, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Really authentic genuine experience and a wonderful base for my wife and I to spend our 7 days exploring the area.

This is such a special place! Their family treated us like family from the start. We felt at home there! We inquired a few days prior about restaurants in the area and they offered to cook us a DELICIOUS homemade dinner with vegetables from their garden!! We ate the lovely dinner in their beautiful outdoor garden area under a lemon tree. The hosts were so very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the garden, the chickens, and their sweet kitty!

Great stay in a charming little city with some really good restaurants.. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds with a garden and two adorable cats. Breakfast was typical Italian pastries, and occasionally delicious apple or almond custard cake, with good coffee. The room and bathroom were big and the bed comfy. If you have a road facing room you can hear the traffic. The window and doors do a good job blocking it but if you're on the balcony it is pretty loud at times. The location is fantastic if you have a car, we didn't but still found it very doable. There are two train stations each a 30 minute walk. One gets you to Sorrento and Pompeii easily the other is the best for going to Naples. It's not a tough walk but when you've been walking sightseeing all day you can feel it. There is a bus 5 minute walk, the 76, that takes you to Naples and back but limited schedule, we took it a few times and it worked great. Highly recommend this B&B if you want to get out of the craziness of the city after sightseeing all day.

The place is surprisingly home-like and the staff is very friendly, making me and my friends really at ease and made extra efforts to attend out necessities. The villa is nearby the most wanted beaches in southern Italy and is definitely a must go!

The minifridge reserverd for common use is way too small, a larger one would be better for sharing the space.

Looking at the photos of the house we expected it to be small, but when we saw it in real life we were impressed. The room were big and spacey, clean, decent and comfortable. The staff is a family that has this building and at the arrival they offered to cook us dinner for a reasonable price, and it was very tasty. The location of Santa Maria la Carita is very close to Pompei, but you’d have to take the train, bus or private car. It’s also close to Sorrento. If you travel by train like we did, the train station to get off was Pioppaino (of Castellamare di stabia town) and you’d have to walk around 20-30 minutes to get to the house, but the town offers public transportation. They even had cats, one being so sociable and cute you’d want to take home with you.

Spacious ,clean, good location for what we had plan. just 20 mins driving from Naples airport. a hand full of minutes away from Pompeii and a short drive for the Amalfie coast. Buonocore is located in Santa Maria La Carita a small town with a great variety of typical Italian food. good free parking facilities just a minute away from the property. Nunzia and her children were very polite and helpful with advice of things to see and do around the area. also the first time we met Nunzia she welcome us with her very own home made limoncello, one of the best I ever tasted.

This is not a 5 start hotel, but we were not looking for one. we prefer family business to help the locals rather than big corporations.

Its a nice place with a brautiful garden. The location was pretty good and the room was clean.

It was pretty cold and the AC for the heating didnt work so we had a cold night. This was in April so I guess this wouldnt be a problem in warmer months.

The family were lovely and we loved their cat. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. Our room faced onto the street so didn't really have a view but the view from the garden was good. We were also really grateful that they chauffered us to and from the train station for a small charge. The hosts also told us about local events and recommended us places to go.
