A beautiful, serene location which is very hard to beat; with lovely, shady gardens giving direct access onto two small but lovely, quiet beaches. There is a laid back, very calm atmosphere, making it very easy to relax. The staff in general are great: very helpful and friendly, especially Paola and Martina on the front desk, and all the restaurant staff, especially the maitre d' - everyone was very kind and courteous. Breakfasts were very plentiful with a good range of options (lots of different cakes and pastries). The restaurant (for dinner) was very good indeed, with a changing daily menu offering some great traditional dishes, and some nice wines. There is a large, elegant swimming pool, and a nice terraced bar with a great view over the beach, and a excellent range of drinks. The design and layout of the hotel is quite charming, mid-century with a cosy retro feel which we really liked. With sea breezes wafting through, and good air-con, it was easy to keep cool. The hotel is fairly isolated so it's hard to see anywhere else without a car, but it's also extremely easy to spend a week here very happily.

There was nothing really to eclipse the loveliness of the hotel, but if you want a bit of space, it's probably best to go for one of the superior rooms, as the Classic rooms are on the small side, as are the beds. Also, there isn't really a wellness centre/spa as such, although it was possible to book a massage. In places the decor is a bit dated (the bedrooms in particular - communal spaces were better) - we liked the traditional feel, but perhaps some things could be replaced. A very small point: there could be better provision of toiletries etc in the bedroom (eg there was no hand or body lotion, and that would have been a nice touch).

Our room was spacious, clean, and with a small terrasse looking out at the sea. The resort grounds are beautiful, with a private beach, a pool, and a gym overlooking the sea. Breakfast and dinner were pretty good and good value for money.

A car is probably necessary if you want to go anywhere outside of the resort. The tap water in the hotel was not potable, but the hotel did not provide any drinking water free of charge. The lunch options at the resort are overpriced and not fresh.

Amazing location right on the beach with a water view from my room and balcony. Room had all the essentials. Hotel has a bar and a grill by the beach/pool. Beautiful grounds. Staff all very kind.

The grill closes at 3 but restaurant does not open until 7:30 for dinner. I was one of the only non-Italian speaking guests so had difficulty with communication with some staff.

Huge resort with a lot of space to spend the time. Very friendly and attentive and welcoming staff. Private beach is very comfortable , Pool is so beautyful and perfect located for windy times. Huge variety in breakfast (good combination of intercontinental and Italian). Restaurant is recommendable.

If you do not want to have lunch/Dinner there, you are dependant on a car (not bad but you need to know) Room partially was not properly clean Anyways it is a place to relax and where we would stay again.

This hotel is beautiful, set in the most gorgeous location. The grounds and beach are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel feels very traditional and rustic Italian, with natural beauty. It is a small hotel on large grounds and what could be better then that! You didn’t feel like you were one of hundreds of tourists, the staff treated everyone as individuals. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to help you. They couldn’t have done anymore for us. The service is impeccable. The hotel offers a 4 course meal every night and we ate here for the 3 nights we were here. It was lovely food and varied. The breakfast was lovely too; Warm pastries, juice, eggs, bacon, yoghurt and fruit. The hotel is isolated with no shops within walking distance so you would either need to hire a car or use the bus service which takes you into Pula every 90 minutes or so. So try not to forget your toothbrush or you might struggle to find a shop to replace it! My sister and I are already making plans to come back here. We are so happy we found this hidden gem!

The rooms are basic but I found them charming and traditionally Italian. We were only in our rooms to sleep anyway as we spent most of our time on the beach or around the hotels beautiful grounds

A little lacking in terms of flexibility but f where / when to eat. Also, relatively few activities in or near the hotel.

Amazing location, close to some of the best beaches in the area. The swimming pool is fantastic, as it is the private beach. The hotel and private villas are surrounded by trees and it's very quiet. The grill on the beach is very good and overlooks the private beach.

Nothing - I read other reviews with negative feedback about the rooms and the structure. Yes, it's traditional and may need some updates here and there, but it's great value for money, relaxing and we would definitely go back.

Very very beautiful location and facilities!! The pool and the private beach are very well kept and have a very calming beautiful atmosphere. Definitely recommend getting a seaview room. Very friendly and helpful reception staff!

Sadly the room walls are very thin and there is not much privacy.

Loved the location and setting, all of the staff were fantastic, couldn`t have been more helpful. Every where was spotlessly clean if a little tired.

The breakfast could have been a little more varied but quite adequate really, fantastic coffee and croissants. Some the of the infrastructure was a little damaged, paving etc, And I would have liked the pool to be heated a little, a bit fresh for me in May.

The place is beautiful, the beach amazing, the rooms clean and comfortable and the reception staff are so nice and helpful.

Definitely the food. Overpriced, very limited options and bad quality, specially dinner, which seems to be reheated frozen food. Lunch was a bit better.
