It was in a good location, but very quiet. The room was very clean, the breakfast so tasty and from local ingredients - the host even asked us if we want pistacchio or nutella croissants in the morning so they can make them fresh. After check out the host gave us a tour of his aromatic plants, there are plenty and he is very passionate about it.

It was a bit confusing with the parking, we only had backpacks so it would have been easier to simply point us to the area just outside the city walls where we can park, instead we drove through old town and the host took us to the parking. For people with luggage it makes sense but in ours it would be way less stressful to directly go and park.

The property was in an excellent location in central Sciacca and had undergone extensive refurbishment and modernisation in recent years being tastefully decorated throughout. Our room and bathroom were cleaned daily, the shower was warm and the air conditioning fully working and was much needed during our stay in mid July. The breakfast room was superb, It had been built into the basement and transformed from old wheat store previously. Silvio was an excellent host, we had no problems , but Silvio was always on hand to answer any questions. The aromatic herbs experience was also excellent and educational provided by Carmello , and is highly recommended. An absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast , It was a pleasure to stay here ! Highly recommended.

Nothing to Dislike

From the first minute we felt very very welcome. Silvio is amazing! Very friendly and hospitable. Got loads of information about the history and highlights of the city as well as recommendations for local eats. Everything is reachable on foot. The hotel is very nicely built with preservation of the historic cellars where you eat breakfast. Room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious and good coffee. Also we got a tour from Silvio explaining about the history of the hotel and an aromatic experience of aromatic plants that are grown and cared for by him and his brother. Simply best experience!

Amazing place to stay - after 10 days in Sicily travelling around this was by far the best accommodation. Facilities were excellent, felt new and a great finish; even down to small details like fly screens. The history of the place is incredible, host gave us a guided tour and walk through of the herb garden (which is just mindblowing!). Had some great recommendations on local restaurants and the breakfast was a big spread. Would very much go back.

Nothing - everything amazing.

Silvio could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were able to park in front temporarily to unload the luggage and then he rode with us to the parking area just outside the old city. The Band B is charming and historic, with a cave in the basement where breakfast is served. At one time, it was an herbalist’s place, so Silvio’s brother has recaptured that by growing many herbs that he shows you and lets you smell. They have done something very special by renovating this fascinating property!

There was nothing we did not like.

Fantastic stay! Loved the aromatic experience and the hosts! Fantastic location and facilities. So gracious and genuine interest in helping/relating to guests. Breakfast location and food were wonderful. Love all the history of the building and excavation of what was discovered. Will definitely revisit area and stay with this host again!!!

Everything was wonderful.

The location was brilliant for exploring the town. Sivio and his brother made us feel very welcome. The house was full of history and breakfast was served in a fabulous cave. The family have done a great job renovating the place. The bedrooms were bright modern and clean and there was a choice of roof terraces that you could take your drinks up to in the evening. Breakfast was excellent - delicious pastries and home made jams, fruit and yoghurts. You can tell that the family pride themselves on great customer service and couldn't do enough for us.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We enjoyed everything. The way we have been hugged by the hosts was above any expectations; the location was just amazing to feel the real life of Sciacca and also quite comfortable to escape out of it with minimum traffic difficulties. Particularly we enjoyed the story of B&B Aromatorio; the care with which the owners have managed to safe the historical past of the building and connect it with today’s life. For my family it happened to be something more than just a trip; it turned to become an experience to discover the real people who are really in love with what they do and in love with where they live. Recommended indeed.

Wonderful friendly atmosphere in a beautiful historic building. Great breakfast and superb service from the brothers. Guided tour of the herb garden essential - then try some as tea.

Getting there was a nightmare. Satnav took us on a tour of the old Moorish quarter of Sciacce - alleys I don't want to see again. Free Parking in the square at Porto Palermo was easy - if only I had tried to get to there rather than to the hotel.

We loved our stay in Sciacca with Silvio and Carmelo. Silvio greeted us outside the front and helped us park as we had a car. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like family. Silvio went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in Sciacca, on our last day we had an early flight and Silvio left some breakfast for us to grab at 5am for our drive to the airport! The b&b has a lot of character, but modern, was spotless, and in a great location (but still quiet). 100% recommend and I hope to see Silvio and Carmelo on our next trip to Sicily.
