If you're looking for peace and quiet off the beaten path, this is it. Quite the opposite of Cortina D'Ampezzo, very quiet, not to say isolated, and frequented mostly by Italian tourists, it comes at the cost of lower elevation mountains and less spectacular scenery. The nearest towns of Cavalese and Tesero are quaint and have several good restaurants and at least one supermarket. The drive to Bolzano seems short, at 20-some kilometers, but it will take you 45 minutes on narrow, windy mountain roads. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast, quite lavish, and very friendly and helpful staff - we loved the staff here. The indoor/outdoor pool is very nice for kids and there are good hiking opportunities nearby. I would be tempted to return here at a lower room price. Note: this is a summer review.

The hotel is located right on a secondary road that may see some traffic in the tourist season, but soundproofing is good. A car (or strong legs and a bike) is almost mandatory in this area, even to get to the nearest town. 300 Euro a night seems rather pricey for what it offers, even in August, but the hotel is nevertheless full. Apartments are cleaned once a week, and an extra charge is required for daily cleaning, which seems unusual for a 4-star hotel.

I loved the scenery and all of the amenities made available to guests. It was a fun adventure to try the sauna, the salt room, the turkish bath, and areas to lounge around freely and without interruption. I liked the massage jets and seating in the pool, and the breakfast that was included. I loved that ping pong, foosball, or billiards were available. It had more than I was searching for. The stars at night were amazingly beautiful. I wish we could've stayed longer than one night!

I wish there was a restaurant within the structure, or some sort of food service. After traveling there, I didn't want to have to leave again to find a place to eat for dinner, even if there were restaurants within 5-7 minutes away. I am grateful for the list of places to eat that gave a 10% discount for staying at villa di bosco.

Amazing place! We spent a week here. Delicious breakfasts, wonderful hosts and workers. Everything is clean, comfortable, beautiful and quiet! Any request was fulfilled. We were always helped and advised. There is everything you need for life: a kitchen in the room, a swimming pool, saunas, a game room, a basketball court, breakfasts.

An incredible ski vacation. Excellent skiing, lodging, food. Lodging is fantastic. The hosts are can you tell beautiful and nice.

The hotel is about a mile up the mountain. You will need a car to go to the beautiful villages for lunch or dinner.

The receptionists were super friendly and guided us also in the area. There facilities are great, with the nice indoor/outdoor pool, sauna and a recreational room with foosball and ping pong table. The service and breakfast were great.

The second floor area had no windows and it was too hot without AC in August

Big rooms, very quiet place (never heard any neighbor), great views, very helpful staff who are very communicative. Baby chair and bed was no problem. Kitchen was well equipped.

Just keep in mind that you will need a car or transport to go to the shop or restaurants, but that you have in the mountains!

Lovely apartment with all the amenities that we needed during our time in the Dolomites. Loved the saunas!

The road can be a little bit noisy if you are in a room on the front of the building.

the spa is very small and the program is not flexible or suitable for during-day use. also, the billiar/pool table is strange with very tiny pockets

The spa was amazing. Only wished it was open longer. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.
