After an exhausting 3 week road trip through southern Italy, and after reading its excellent reviews, we decided to stay at Poderi Di Tragliatella on our last 4 nights before departing for Sydney. It was our best decision of the holiday. Resting by the pool in a rural setting of rolling hills, was a welcome respite each day amidst each day of touring in the local area, as well as recuperating at the end of our extensive Italian travels. Marco is an excellent host and could not do enough for us. The accommodation is situated 20 minutes drive from the beautiful medieval castle/town/lake of Bracciano, only a 40 minute 1 euro train ride to Rome and 50 minute drive to Rome international airport. We also very much appreciated that Marco was kind enough to let us stay by the pool after check out, up until leaving in the afternoon to catch our night flight to Australia

We stayed here while attending a wedding weekend at Borgo di Tragliata. The location is a ~8 min drive from the property, so the location was perfect. The host was so kind, communicative and attentive. Also extremely patient with a lot of our user errors (like having trouble figuring out the front door and gate). We loved chatting with him. The property is beautiful, on an olive tree farm! We loved our time here and 10/10 would recommend.

Poderi di Tragliatella Farmhouse is a fantastic place. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Marco's house is an oasis of peace. Surrounded by nature and a beautiful view of the hills. Swimming pool is a plus and so is the hot tub we had in our room. Marco the owner is the kindest and most welcoming host we have ever met. Treated us like family and made us feel at home. We are already looking forward to booking our next stay next year!

Great B&B. Met all expectations and more - highly recommend! Rooms are clean and good size. Breakfast is great - property is beautiful - service is great - got to learn and ask questions about the area and olive oil. Definitely try the olive oil - a highlight! Very peaceful space with everything you could need. Can day trip into Rome to see the sights. Great space to recharge and relax. Pool is good sized and everything about the property is great and welcoming. Marco manages the property well and is very knowledgable about the surrounding area, suggestions, olive oil, etc.

Stayed at the start of september. The place is a small place. Only houses 6 (or 7) guests at a time. So it is guaranteed that there is not too many people on the property or at the pool at the same time. Location is perfect if you want to be away from the busy metropolis. Car is needed though! And you need to be prepared to drive if you want to go to a restaurant or anywhere else. The lake Bracciano is 15min drive up north, while Fiumicino airport and Rome (northern part of city) is roughly 30min drive. Sea is 20min drive. You can get a lot of tips from Marco for restaurants and places to visit. Pool is nice and warm. This was not given during our trip as 2/3 of the places had really cold water in the pools. Breakfast was nice. Delicious bread, ham, croissants, yoghurt, fruits, bruschetta. The Italian breakfast. Marco is super nice and friendly and takes care of his guests really well. We had many discussions on different topics as we sat the night with Marco and his wife and two other guests. The feeling of this place is like the early days of B&B's. It is a place where Marco stays too so you are in his home. The way B&B's should be. This place gives the feeling of being a guest in a house. Too many B&Bs nowadays says they are B&B but actually are a hotel-like place built to accommodate people and only to rip off every penny they can from you. I usually stay in B&B like places for authenticity and this achieves that. I also usually buy some Finnish chocolate from the airport and give it as a gift for the owners of the places like Marco's. It's a small thank you for people who still holds the B&B mentality up, and does not make it ONLY about money. We stayed in 4 B&B style places during our trip and this was only chocolate worthy place.

This is really small thing, but the bed could be better. It was enough for 2 persons, but it could be a bit bigger and a bit sturdier.

Marco is a fantastic host! He is kind and funny and makes you feel welcome (with good wine and coffee and delicious breakfast with amazing local ricotta cheese and good stories, and the best olive oil ever!) The farm is located beautifully, in a quiet area with a beautiful view. The room was also really spacious, clean and nicely decorated.

The “Poderi di Tragliatella Farmhouse” is simply put, an oasis of tranquility in the farmlands north of Rome. After a hectic two week tour of Italy, I selected to finish my vacation at this location due to it’s proximity to Fumicino airport (40 min by car) and accessibility to Rome (drive to Cesano Train station and park for free, 55 min train ride to Ostiense). I can personally attest that the other good reviews of this location are accurate. Marco is not only an attentive and professional host but also truly cares about the needs and wellbeing of his guests. One night I caught a late train back to the Farmhouse and missed dinner and when Marco found out, he would not let me go to bed without eating and provided a plate of bread and local cheeses and meats and of course wine, that was all just perfect. If you like peace and quiet, rustic farmhouse accommodations and wonderful people, I highly recommend this location. I for sure will be returning.

Amazing host, beautiful and quiet location, yummy breakfast and only 15 minutes away from train station that brings you to Rome for only 1Euro (45 minutes on same train). You will need a car to get here. Will definetly come back again and this time stay longer to enjoy the pool and surrounding towns.

Wasn’t a problem for us but I think best to have a car

The host is charming and very knowledgeable. He will suggest places to visit and where to eat and has a large selection of "digestivi" for when you return from dinner ! The location is excellent - in beautiful countryside just outside Rome, near Lago di Bracciano and Cerveteri, and very quiet. The pool was just too inviting not to have a swim, despite the early season water temperature (mid May) ! The car park is shaded from the sun !

It would have been better if we could have stayed longer ! I can't think of anything we didn't like . . .
