A wide a variety of food for all tastes, I very much liked the hosts, They are really humorous, hospitable, sociable people ready to satisfy all your wishes. Excellent pizza and carbonara for dinner. The guesthouse is situated in the middle of the mountains with an amazing garden full of exotic plants and trees. Plus, it is quite near Ravello wih its Villa Rufolo si Cimbrone, which are a must to see, and Salerno and Maiori- 2 great resorts at the Mediterranean Sea.

Although it is little bit difficult to reach the location, it s worthwhile the effort, If possible, ride a motorbike to travel all over Amalfi Coast.

I hope this review reflects the beauty and experience of staying at Il Frescale! I wrote a long review but please read till the end! Highly recommend this place! We arrived very late and exhausted, only to be warmly welcomed by Angelo – a true angel in every sense. From the moment we stepped in, he took exceptional care of us, making us feel completely at home. The place itself is nothing short of magical, perfectly blending elegant traditional Italian architecture with modern comforts. The rooms are cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Waking up to the serene sounds of nature and fresh air was an absolute dream. The real highlight, however, was the food. The best cuisine we’ve ever experienced. Everything is homemade, fresh, and locally sourced, from the pasta to the vegetables grown right on the property. Every meal was so special and the recommendations we got were beyond amazing. We got to try the wine they make, it was perfect and you can taste how it was made with love, just like everything they do! They were kind and attentive, and always there offering help and guidance ensuring that our stay was as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Angelo suggested several beautiful places to visit, and we were so glad we took his advice! The spots he recommended were surprisingly charming and breathtaking. He even went the extra mile to help us with directions and parking, making our visits stress-free and enjoyable. The location is absolutely ideal for those looking to experience the beauty of the Amalfi Coast without the overwhelming crowds. You’ll need a car to get there, but trust me, it’s worth it – don’t hesitate! Tramonti itself is a hidden gem, It offers the tranquility of the countryside while being just a short drive from the coastal attractions.

This coutnry house is owned by the best family, they are so kind and attentive. They serve a delicious breakfast and make it easy to reserve a table for dinner. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. We didn't need a view of the ocean here because the house is surrounded by the family's vineyard, it is so peaceful and welcoming. Our original booking was canceled at the last minute; this house was better than what we originally booked! It was the best stay, the best breakfast, and the best dinner we had during our entire trip in Italy. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. What a beautiful place is Il Frescale Country House! And most of all: the hospitality by Angelo, Marie-Lena and their family exceeded our expectations. We hoped for an authentic Italian experience and it was all that and more! The view on the mountains, delicious breakfast with homemade cake and pie, special coffee’s by Angelo, but also the dinners where you are surrounded by Italian families. Angelo has good tips for seeing Amalfi and is always willing to help out. From early in the morning till late in the evening, we saw a very dedicated and friendly host. We feel so lucky to have discovered this place and would highly recommend it! We loved it and hope to come back some day. Arriverderci Il Frescale Country House!

Amazing place, in the middle of the nature. Very relaxing and authentic place. Fantastic host Mr Angelo, very kind and happy to help. Food is amazing at the restaurant, must eat there at least once. We stayed 4 nights and had dinner twice because was very good with organic vegetables from own garden. Really nice place to stay, away from the chaos from the cities.

Would be great to have Air conditioning as it was very hot outside. Some devices for flies and mosquito as well would help.

Slightly challenging to get to, as Italian mountain roads are tight. Nonetheless worth it.

The location is mesmerizing. But it takes some time to get on and off the mountain to reach the villages around. You have to like driving a lot of serpentines

Incredible location with restaurant and accommodation in the middle of the nature. Angelo is a great and warm host that makes you feel like part of the family. Together with his beautiful, passionate and commited family - this dream team makes sure to deliver best quality services. The place is situated in the hills, right in the middle of nature. The road up from Maiori includes scenic views with lemon hills, forests and traditional villages - different vibe vs the crowded and busy Amalfi coast. I stayed at Il Frescale for almost 1 week together with my partner and had amazing time. The accommodation included a very spacious room with view to the wineyard. Very quiet place, big bed and best for relaxing. The location includes restaurant with amazing food which is made with fresh local products and from the farm yard. Highly recommend to go there and eat. The best traditional italian dishes I ever had and also one of a kind beef with mushrooms!! Compliments to the chef - everything was so fresh and tasty!! Attention to Michelin folks and all foodies out there - this place is a gem, make sure to add it to your list. Overall experience was amazing and highly recommend the place. Angelo and his daughter were the most wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The food was fantastic and it was fabulous to eat all vegetables from the garden. Nothing was too much trouble and the small touches from Angelo were really appreciated. Italian hospitality at its finest!
