Crazy good place. At the right distance from Tropea (2 minutes of car), it's just perfect to easily reach this jewel village without being stuck in the tourist chaos. The residence is at 100 meters from a cliff which offers a beautiful view of the sea, especially at the sunset. A short trekking path leads you down in 5 minutes, to one of the best beaches I've ever seen. Water is so cristal clean that it looks like a pool. Also a nice beach to do a bit of snorkeling. Domenica and Romero are simply amazing hosts and always do everything they can to make you feel at home. From a little chat at breakfast, to leading you to the best places in the region, they literally couldn't do more for us. If you want to try some real Italian grandma-level kitchen just ask them where to go and you won't regret it. Also, they are very professional and curated to perfection all the details of their beautiful residence. I can assure that it will be hard to leave this place. It was for us and for sure we will be back :D

Peaceful Paradise in the Heart of Calabria! 🌴 Villa D’Aquino is a hidden gem that stole our hearts. Stunning sunset views from the terrace, a beautifully maintained garden with a pool, and a peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and air-conditioned – just what you need after a day in the sun. And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing – fresh, plentiful, and served with a view that makes your morning even better. One of the best parts? Just a short drive away you’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. 🏖️ Free parking and fast Wi-Fi were great extras, especially when planning our daily adventures. We loved every moment and will definitely be coming back! 🧳✨

A perfect taste experience! - The sunset from the terrace above Stromboli is a real experience.

After returning home, I can't drink coffee anymore. Everything is worse than in Villa (and in Italy in general).

Beautiful view form the balcony. Fresh and delicious breakfast. Very friendly stuff. Beautifull beach is very close (5-10 min by foot), centre of Tropea (around 30min by foot) Amazing stay!!!

The place is very good. The sea is very close. The path to the sea, past the goats, is impressive and interesting. Of course, you have to go down a cliff, but that's not a problem for young legs. Those who want an easier walk might have to go a bit further, taking the longer way around. The breakfast is wonderful, and you can discover something new every day. The hostess is amazing, helpful, and can assist you if any problems arise.

Breakfast everyday was yum, with a lot of variety. The location was amazing if you prefer a quieter place to stay. I would reccommend renting a car if you stay here as it is quite a walk to the city centre. There is also a beautiful direct bath to the beach. Staff was very friendly.

It would be great if there could be a kettle, tea bags, and milk to have access to throughout the day.

Lovely location in the beautiful countryside with a heated pool which is open all the time. Breakfast was good and everyone was helpful. Nice big bed and warm shower.

I decided to stay here without a car and it probably wasn’t a good idea as the closest place to eat was over 20 minutes away by foot. I wouldn’t stay here without a car as there aren’t really taxis available either (high prices)

It is so peaceful. The hosts, Domenica and Romero, were gracious and welcoming. There is a horse and goats wandering in the field next door, so you are outside the main tourist area. The pool is heated and comfortable; I spent more time there than at the famous beach! The breakfast included was varied and satisfying.

Beautiful villa a short drive from tropea. We saw spectacular sunsets over stromboli and watched horses graze, right in our backyard. We had the room on the ground floor and it actually worked better than being on the top floor with sea views, as we had immediate access to the pool. Very good value for money

There's nothing not to like. If I were to make 2 small recommendations it would be to provide maps/info about the place and surroundings, and to possibly include glasses to drink out of in the room
