Crazy good place. At the right distance from Tropea (2 minutes of car), it's just perfect to easily reach this jewel village without being stuck in the tourist chaos. The residence is at 100 meters from a cliff which offers a beautiful view of the sea, especially at the sunset. A short trekking path leads you down in 5 minutes, to one of the best beaches I've ever seen. Water is so cristal clean that it looks like a pool. Also a nice beach to do a bit of snorkeling. Domenica and Romero are simply amazing hosts and always do everything they can to make you feel at home. From a little chat at breakfast, to leading you to the best places in the region, they literally couldn't do more for us. If you want to try some real Italian grandma-level kitchen just ask them where to go and you won't regret it. Also, they are very professional and curated to perfection all the details of their beautiful residence. I can assure that it will be hard to leave this place. It was for us and for sure we will be back :D

- Perfect location of the villa - Beautifully maintained garden and the surroundings of the house - Clean room, cleaned every day - A lovely hostess who will solve and willingly help with everything - Super delicious breakfast - Coffee, coffee, coffee, that's what you can't forget. A perfect taste experience! - The sunset from the terrace above Stromboli is a real experience.

After returning home, I can't drink coffee anymore. Everything is worse than in Villa (and in Italy in general).

Beautiful view form the balcony. Fresh and delicious breakfast. Very friendly stuff. Beautifull beach is very close (5-10 min by foot), centre of Tropea (around 30min by foot) Amazing stay!!!

Lovely location in the beautiful countryside with a heated pool which is open all the time. Breakfast was good and everyone was helpful. Nice big bed and warm shower.

I decided to stay here without a car and it probably wasn’t a good idea as the closest place to eat was over 20 minutes away by foot. I wouldn’t stay here without a car as there aren’t really taxis available either (high prices)

Beautiful villa a short drive from tropea. We saw spectacular sunsets over stromboli and watched horses graze, right in our backyard. We had the room on the ground floor and it actually worked better than being on the top floor with sea views, as we had immediate access to the pool. Very good value for money

There's nothing not to like. If I were to make 2 small recommendations it would be to provide maps/info about the place and surroundings, and to possibly include glasses to drink out of in the room

Excellent location with sea view and away from busy Tropea. You can still walk there in the evening. Lovely converted villa with small pool. We had a small but comfortable room. It was in the corner of the first floor overlooking the sea. The owners are super nice and helpful.

The room was next to the breakfast area and the service started pretty early so you can hear this in the room.

Freshly baked pastries, fruits, cereals, eggs, and an array of delicious local delicacies made each morning a delightful culinary experience. Another highlight of my stay was the parking facility provided by Villa d'Aquino. Finding parking in a popular tourist destination like Tropea can be a challenge, but the hotel had a convenient and secure parking area, ensuring that I didn't have to worry about my vehicle during my stay. This added convenience was greatly appreciated and made my overall experience even more enjoyable. The villa itself was charming and exuded an authentic Italian ambiance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful town of Tropea. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests, which further enhanced the overall experience. Additionally, the location of Villa d'Aquino was superb.I found it to be the perfect balance, allowing me to easily explore Tropea while also providing a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle. In conclusion, my stay at Villa d'Aquino was truly memorable. The excellent breakfast selection, convenient parking, charming villa, and attentive staff all contributed to a fantastic experience. Definitely recommend Villa D'Aquino for everyone! Fantastic service, delicious breakfasts, rooms cleaned daily, unforgettable view of beautiful sunsets near the Stromboli volcano. Amazing! In addition, one of the most wonderful beaches is so close to the accommodation. You can use the pool and relax on a sun lounger. The distance from Villa D'Aquino to the center of Tropea is only 30minutes via a safe pedestrian road. There is no problem with getting there by car (a few minutes), and you can park there without any problem (parking is paid, but not everywhere, it depends on the place).

Amazing little gem of a guesthouse. Beautiful location, just outside of town enough to be quiet, but close enough to easily go there. Located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Wonderful staff, lovely breakfast on the patio, excellent value. We only stayed here one night and wished we could stay longer.

Our family had 3 rooms total. 2 of them were great, but in one we couldn't get the air conditioner to work. It was pretty hot and stuffy in there. We didn't realize it until the middle of the night, so did not ask for help with it.
