A place which we wouldn’t didn’t have the highest expectations of, but became our favourite village during a trip around the all of Sardinia. Everyone was extremely friendly and the mayor was an incredible person!

Nothing everything was perfect!

I chose B&B Gennarcu in Ussassai because I was looking for a peaceful place with beautiful scenery and I wasn't disappointed. I spent a week at Fransesco's B&B and he took a great care of me - he even offered to share his dinner with me as the only restaurant in the village was closed at that time. He also helped me to arrange for a transfer service from and to the airport, gave me the information about the hiking trails around Ussassai and was kind enough to get me extra heater in the room (it was unusually cold March). The room was specious, the bathroom was clean, the house full of charm and memories, and of course the lovely fireplace. The village is small but meets all the basic needs - there's a grocery shop, pharmacy, 2 bars, butcher etc. And there are lots of hiking trails starting nearby. Thank you again for a wonderful hospitality.

Breakfast could have been a little more interesting

This was one of the nicest BnBs I have ever been to! Francesco is a fantastic host, the house is lovely and for cold days the fireplace in the living room is just great! I really enjoyed spending time with Francesco and his daughter and I hope to see you again one day! :)

It's a cute little village with a few nice walks to do and a nice host

Very difficult to go around and enjoy the area without a car so a short stay may be recommended The bnb is on the main road therefore quite noisy Lastly the bed springs may be slightly annoying
