We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The large parking area made it convenient to park my car without any hassle. The pool area was fantastic, offering a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. There were plenty of sunbeds available, ensuring that we always had a comfortable spot by the pool. Additionally, the hotel is a great base for exploring the attractions of Tuscany. The intimate and cozy atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable.

However, there is one aspect that could be improved. One day, the serene atmosphere by the pool was disrupted when a group of about ten teenagers, who were friends of the owner (that's what they told us) and not hotel guests, arrived. They were noisy, played ball games, and took up most of the pool area. To make matters worse, they spread out on our towels. This incident significantly spoiled the otherwise tranquil environment. Addressing this issue would enhance the overall guest experience.

We returned here after coming in 2018 and being so delighted with the family, including the father who was a famous pizza chef throughout Italy. The whole staff was wonderful then and now. Their patriarch very sadly passed away in 2020. We opt for their simplest accommodations, which suit us just fine. Little private terrace outside your room. Wonderful pool- perfectly maintained. Many German guests to get some sun. But it is the family that makes us want to return for longer in the future.

They only fire up the pizza oven in late June, July and August for the Europe vacation season, so we were disappointed not to get one of their wonderful and memorable pizzas. But we had a pasta main and enjoyed it.

The property is really nice - not huge with overcrowded pool, not too small - it offered all we needed - nice & clean pool with sufficient number if sunbeds, really short walking distance to the sea ( 5 mins, just across the road), garden for picknic, restaurant and very little playground

The room itself was a bit small for 4 people- we had one king bed, one single and sofa. The sofa took most of the place in the kitchen and kitchen table was hardly accessible

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the beach. The parking is really spacious. Rooms are quite comfortable and the staff was really helpful.

The room was not perfectly clean, but neither was it dirty. Some of the room's furnishings were either broken or nearly broken, but I assume that was due to our visit being at the very end of the holiday season.

Very welcoming staff and very quiet and clean place with all the useful amenities.

Unfortunately for a very serious issue the restaurant been closed and it wasn’t very easy to find a place for shopping food, it’s easy just if you have car. Not always the local restaurant is closed.

Location was great, the restaurant food was fantastic! Would highly recommend! Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very clean.

Had to cancel and change dates the day before we were due to arrive due to flight cancellation by the airline due to nationwide strike in Italy. Would have been nice to keep the rates we had expected to pay rather than higher rates for the following weekend as due to extenuating circumstances we couldn’t make the first reservation. The hotel staff were fantastic and I was able to make contact with them very easily and they were able to change the dates in the end.

We had a wonderful stay at La Ventola! We arrived at the Vada train station and had requested a taxi to get us to the hotel, but they informed us that there is a Trainino (small road train) that runs every half hour from the train station to the hotel for €2 per person so this was perfect. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen had everything you would need. The restaurant at the hotel is lovely and has great food. You can easily get the trainino into town and the beach is literally a 5 minute walk across the road. We spent most of our time relaxing around the large pool. Staff were great and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is in no way a dislike or criticism of the hotel, but just to mention the nearest shop for groceries is in Vada town which is a 25 minute walk, there is not a shop on site. You can catch the trainino in, get your groceries and then trainino or walk back or vice versa.

Nice, big appartment. Many parking spots available. Pool was nice und relaxed. Next beach was just a few minutes away.

Unfortunately the kitchen had no oven and water cooker.

Room only cleaned once in 9 days which we were told was normal unless you had different formula for the room. It was not clear there was a choice. Hob but no oven-again wasn’t aware. No basics in kitchen eg salt and pepper-would have been good to have so didn’t have to buy everything. On check in no info so found out as we went along

Our room was nice it also had a separate kitchen and seating area. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was lovely and well looked after. It was a lovely place to stay.
