There are lots of things which make Residence Chiesiola such a great place to stay - the views over the port & city, the swimming pool, the break feasts!!! Lemoncello Spritz’s on the terrazzo, bar snacks (doesn’t really describe them), beach umbrellas and sun loungers at the beach club, but the two stand outs are your hosts brother & sister, Giovanni & Mathilde. They are what make you love the place even more and want to stay longer & come back again. Giovanni is the master of the bar & reception whilst Mathilde is the baker extraordinaire!!! The staff are great too - Cinzia makes a great coffee. Definitely take a room with a view it’s worth it!!! They also have their own olive grove so you get to eat their olives & olive oil, and can even take some home for gifts for your family & friends!

I don't remember giving any places a "10" till now. But we had a great time staying at this hotel. We chose the apartment with a sea view. Sparkling clean, rather large for 2 and well equipped. The hotel is located 5+ minutes by car from the parking at Vieste port. It's a perfect place to retreat from the busy life in Vieste and the view from the pool (or the room if you are lucky) is spectacular. Prices (off season) are very reasonable. Last but not least, the "staff" was exceptionally kind, helpful and professional (Giovanni, Matilda, Ana). Breakfast is generous and tasty. Definitely a "10" by our standard.

Absolutely nothing comes to mind

The pool is great. Clean, big, nice view and open at least till 30. September. We had see-view apartment but at ground floor, so the view was limited. We had a patio. Next floor has a balcony and better view. Kitchen is ok, all you need including a microwave oven but not an ordinary owen. Bed at our room was good, hard enough. Nice surprise was to get a parking permit next to beach, which was only some 2 km downhill, and two sun-chairs under umbrella there, was included to the price. Behind the pool there is a covered patio to the children including a small playground, table tennis, darts and table football. The hotel is located to the top of the hill.

There was nothing to wash the dishes, no brush, no washing liquid. In the toilet no liquid soap, only little hard piece of soap but small bags of shampoo. Bathroom is pretty big but the shower cabin small, maximum 70cmx70cm. Sometimes you needed to wait hot water. Some noise is heard from the neighbors through the walls but not disturbing.

The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well. We had breakfast one morning and it was excellent value with many delicious things. Also had their happy hour evening meal one night. That was a highlight sitting by pool looking over the beautiful white town below, eating delicious food and sipping delicious local wine. Thoroughly recommend this. Deck chair and umbrella and parking space by beach all included in price. Fantastic.

No bottle opener for wine or beer!

Wonderful location with a big swimming pool and a beautiful view on Vieste. The staff are amazing and they serve the best breakfast we have had in Italy on our trip. Be sure to ask for a top floor garden view room, so you'll have the same view from the balcony. The staff was kind enough to let us switch with no extra charge ❤️

It's a little bit further from Vieste, but still a good walking distance or by car if you're not comfortable going down-/uphill.

We enjoyed our stay at Chiesola Residence for very many reasons. First of all, the pride of the facility is the very kind and competent staff. In addition, I was delighted with the delicious breakfasts, the clean room, the beautiful view from the terrace over the town and the sea, the very well-maintained garden around the residence, the clean pool with good equipment, the beach service included in the price, the spacious parking and the great location.

I could not find anything like that. Everything was in top order.

We absolutely LOVED our time in Vieste and at this hotel. Such a beautiful family make your stay truly magical. From Giovanni on the front desk, to Matilda who cooks and helps with breakfast. The happy hour light dinner with traditional Pugliese food was an absolute standout. The views are spectacular and proximity to town are just perfect. We are looking for an excuse to return in July we loved our time here so much!!!!

This place was wonderful. The room was spacious modern and clean with a great view over the town. The pool was exceptional. Finding a staff member on arrival was a bit of a problem but thereafter the staff was great. The hotel is well organised, modern, has ample parking and great outdoor areas with panoramic views.

The metal furniture on the balconies was veeeery noisy when people moved it. Appears no-one knows how to pick up a chair to move - dragging was the rule. This is a place for those with a car only as the walk to town is quite the trek and the hill is steep.

The views are fantastic The hosts … Matilda and Giovanni are lovely. A very nice Happy Hour with lovely local food is a special treat. The location is very good if you have a car to explore the area. I prefer staying up on the hill rather than in town. I believe the experience is much better if you have a car.

The amenities are very very simple. Do not expect luxury for the price you are paying. But it is very clean and well kept .

The residence met all our expectations. Located on a hill outside the city of Vieste, it provided a spectacular view of the city and the sea. Giovanni, who met us at the reception desk to give us the key was, in all respects, welcoming, friendly and very helpful - giving us suggestions regarding restaurants in the area as well as helping us with our heavy luggage. Our apartment was quiet and spacious - it had a large, well furnished kitchen, and a wonderful view of the sea. A score of 10 is well deserved.
