Owners Matteo and Noemi were extremely helpful to welcome us to their B&B, tell us about Viterbo and offer us recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfast served by Noemi was superb too !!!

We forgot to ask for the air conditioner remote controls when checking in, then we left for dinner and returned late, when we realised we did not have them in the room we did not want to bother our owners with that as they had been so nice to us with everything else. Perhaps the owners could remind guests that the aircon remote controls are not in the rooms, and guests should ask if they want to use the aircons in their rooms to get the remotes. Not a big problem for us for sure.

Very nice and attentive host. Room was small but clean, bed was very comfortable. Host helped carry my luggage to the room (2 flights). There was no parking at the facility, had to park few min away but manageable. No complimentary breakfast or coffee. We paid 12 euro for 2 of us for breakfast which was decent (focaccia, croissant, sweets, cookies and coffee). We asked for fruit, she brought yogurt and oranges, apples.

Ah, Viterbo, a beautiful and interesting place. And Matteo, our kind and generous host at the B&B Medieval House. Our rooms were cozy with updated bathrooms. Outside the rooms was a large dining area where breakfast was served. A 5-minute walk brings you to the ancient neighborhood of San Pellegrino where many of the buildings are made of the dark gray Pepperino stone that gives the historic district its distinctive look. It’s a special place.

Facility definitely had a medieval feel but it was updated with modern conveniences. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional. Probably the best we had in the six weeks we were in Italy. The selection was incredible. Much more than we could possibly eat!

Had a bit of an issue using the cell phone inside the building but that is a common issue with the extensive stone work.

The apartment was great – very stylish (medieval style), very clean and new bathroom, good equipped kitchen, nice window view and location, great Wi-Fi. The host Matteo was great too (very friendly and hospitable!). Breakfast was very nice too (sweet and savory options available). Certainly, we would book again!

The room is very spacious with all the things you needed, wardrobe, desk etc. It also has a communal well- equipped kitchen area shared with other rooms. Location is convenient within 10 minutes walk to the historic centre and 10 minutes walk to Porta Romana train station.

A friendly place in a quiet part of the old town. Great in comfort, charm, authenticity and a superb breakfast. The host Matteo is your best friend in 2 minutes.

Not great for people with disability issues, as it is cobble stone streets outside and levels inside the house

Matteo and family were exceptional hosts. The rooms was considered for mobility issues and the best little view out of the window. Breakfasts were generous . Enjoyed the personable experience.

Can't fault..value for money.

Matteo, our host, was super friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we got appropriate and free parking and helped print cruise luggage tags for us when ours went astray.

Polyester bedsheets used are not the most comfortable. Much prefer cotton. For breakfast, we’d prefer yogurt and granola or muesli. The delightful cakes offered don’t suit our dietary preference.

Great location. Close to the train station and within the medieval walls. Room was spacious and staff was lovely, always offering help, advices and making us feel at home.

The building was in restauration. Not a problem though.
