So close to shops & crossing road to ocean. Lovely pool & bar for afternoon drinks. Large room size & great to have connecting room for family.

Taking massive bond on CC & the finding if we paid then & there didn't need to do a bond. Asked for bond back on card as nearly $4000 but to process back on card takes 5-10 days.... Funny comes off immediately!

Property was in a great location and slightly behind the main street which meant there wasn't much noise pollution in my room. Parts of the hotel are a bit dated but that didn't detract from a pleasant stay. We did have an issue with the Air Con which the staff sorted no issue. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and there are many shops and convivence stores within the local area. I would count at least 5 convivence stores within a 2 minute walk from the hotel! Most of the staff were friendly.

The daily price of the car park for customers is high, but its in a high demand area and seemed similar to hotels. Depending on where you park, it can be a long walk to the room. The hotel multistorey car park looks to have been expanded and goes over two buildings. There is only one elevator which is worth considering especially if you have lots of luggage in your car. The aircon stopped working if the balcony door was opened or wasn't fully shut and latched, it wasn't clear that it would do this and it took me a while to figure this out along with the help from maintenance. I've seen in other hotels, they have a small card with basic instruction on how to use the AC panel which would help this. These are only very minor points and the stay was very good.

Housekeeping staff was especially friendly and efficient!

Was told we received a room upgrade but didn’t really feel like an upgrade to what I booked. Also, I appreciated the complimentary washer and dryer (that cost $12, so not really complimentary) however my things were stolen when I walked upstairs while my clothes were drying. They weren’t of great expense just very disappointing.

This is a fantastic property. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It has a very positive and happy vibe. As a Gold elite Bonvoy member ( the lowest elite tier) I was treated a million times better than at Hilton properties where I am Diamond. This would be my place to stay in Waikiki in future for location and amenities. Happy hour and food at splash bar is great! I recc the Spicy Ahi Poke bowl. The renovated rooms are awesome. They beach location with access through the Westin can’t be beat. I got free beach chairs due to my status as well. Great stay!

No airport shuttle and the concierge closes at 7:30 so we couldn’t get any help for a shuttle.

The staff are great. Clear in their speaking and helpful. The pool looked beautiful and the place is lovely

The bathroom in the room is very outdated and disappointing. Very small and does not match the room and views at all. I did not like the bathroom at all and if there were photos online with the room, I would not have booked it.

Great central location. Easy walk to everything. Fantastic pool area. Appreciated the free daily bottled water too.

The lifts are old and slow and really struggle to keep up with the demand. Usually there is at least one lift out of order. Late afternoon it is not usual to have a long line of ppl waiting for a lift. Splash bar was quite expensive, but it has a fantastic vibe and is convenient, so I still ate and drank here occasionally. Staff could show a little more “Aloha” spirit. Not saying they are rude… but not particularly friendly either.

They don’t allow you to have the beach chairs like they once did as part of the resort fee. You have to be a high status Marriott Bonvoy member! This was a very disappointing new policy and not one I was happy about. As a multiple time return customer this was one of the reasons we book. Sadly we will not be coming next time as this was a huge let down

The location is perfect, in the most central location on the main strip of Waikiki Beach, the staff are lovely and the entertainment (music) provides a lovely atmosphere. The resort package included mobile wifi, so that while we were out and about we could still remain connected to the internet. The tower was recently renovated and felt clean and fresh. The view from the tower and the ocean views were beautiful.

One of the elevators is not working and this caused some frustration at peak times, trying to get up or down. There were many times that I had to get into an elevator that might be going up, even if I wanted to go down, just so I could eventually come down. Otherwise, I could get stuck on my level, because all the elevators going down were full and I couldn't fit in.

The pool & bar was great! Walter at splash bar is the BEST!!!!!

Outdated and just felt dirty.

Particularly loved their activities program and the Aloha spirit of the Hotel. It really cared to explain the history and culture of Hawaii. All the staff were friendly and genuine, especially the lady who does the Sunrise ceremony and the story tellers. The guys around the pool, Jeff at the desk, and the cleaners were all so helpful it really made us feel welcome. Being a part of the Moana was great giving more options and we loved the dance music by David Swanson at night just inside the foyer for a bit of holiday fun. Both hotels are relaxing and in the best position on the beach. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Dont worry about the lifts, pretty minor, and everyone friendly having a chat. A great hotel, stayed level 17 facing Diamond Head, and view fantastic, refurbishment great!
