My stay was a superb experience. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and in an excellent location. I don't understand the negative reviews. The staff is amazing. The young man who checked me in was beyond polite and helpful. The shuttle drivers were wonderful and friendly - just what I needed after getting off of a plane. The room was gorgeous, quiet, and very comfortable, good water pressure with hot water. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. I received periodic emails during my stay welcoming me and conveying assistance if any was needed. The elevator system is unique and efficient - no long waits. I have no complaints whatsoever and highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, shuttle was efficient and didn't need to wait long. Staff were friendly and check in and check out was extremely efficient and fast. Hotel is big, hotel room was adequate and provided with plenty of shower gel, conditioner and shampoo. Shower has extremely good water pressure.

Bathroom not the cleanest (may be getting old), and other than the room, unsure if there was a pool and/or gym. The view from our room (1442) was at a corner, and therefore window size was extremely small. Pillows were also very soft.

Free 24 hour shuttle is convenient and the beds are super comfortable. Liked the option to be able to check in earlier (for a $40 charge).

Wifi isn't free, vending machine sodas are $4 a pop, and we had to beg to get a bar of soap for the bathroom (not sure if we'll ever get it). Typical LA overpriced hotel restaurant food ($24 for a burger) with the closest other food option being Carl's Jr.

Location was obviously handy for airport, good views from a high airport view room. Nice big room which was handy for all the bags and repacking. Fantastic little 24hr cafe (we arrived about 11.30pm) which made a great fresh pizza, and take wine or beer back to the room. Good selection of food and drinks

Room light wasn't working. Front doors could do with being automatic, struggle to open them whilst moving lots of bags (staff at the door didn't offer to help either :-( ) Shuttle pickup and dropoff at LAX is chaotic, no queueing system, fighting with cars, very poorly signposted, etc. Drivers were nice and helpful tho

Room very noise insulated..quiet, restful sleep. Front desk staff, young fellow, was TERRIFIC. The shuttle driver we FINALLY got was the sweetest, hardest working, courteous helpful person to EVERYONE as he navigated horribly chaotic and congested LAX.Wish I got his name, young Latino fellow..CLONE him..especially after initial attempt to get an airport shuttle. Housekeeping was terrific as well (tall black fellow)

We were in the correct shuttle pickup by terminal 2, Friday evening, around 9:30..an LA Hilton shuttle came way after we had called..it was an older light skinned man who had lots of room, drove in the left lane, made no effort to stop despite our waving and signaling to stop..didn't even turn his head. We walked to Terminal 1 (we are 77) and we're finally picked up by an outstanding young man..see above. Hilton lobby packed, long line to get checked in but desk fellow was terrific. Refrigerator in room broken. Reported upon checkout.

Close to the airport with safe parking. The staff were so helpful at the desk and also in the cafe!

Although close to the airport the planes are quite loud from our room! Half expected though.

The staff were all kind and attentive. I had some problems with my parking stub because I'd gone to the wrong floor of the structure but the front desk worker was kind enough to sort it all out for me. The shuttle service always saves my life going to and from the airport, and the drivers are always nice. The buffet breakfast has a lot of good options and the café staff are very polite.

The hotel is getting a little old and the room windows creak. The toilet in my room would make a random flushing sound every few minutes. The hot water took about 5 minutes to start running. I had an issue with a stranger (non-guest) following me to my room and waiting for me outside of my door, and the staff immediately helped me and escorted them out, but I do wish security had been a little tighter so that he wouldn't have found his way inside in the first place.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable. A wardrobe to hide all your luggage in. Plenty of clothes hangers. Good lighting and a usb embedded into the lamp base to keep my phone charged. The room was luxurious enough. The bathroom was ok. The pool is heated and was great. I was the only one at the pool but maybe that was because I checked in early. The restaurant served the best Alfredo I have ever had in my life back in October. When I returned, I was looking forward to repeating that dish again. Gym was large and a water fountain machine was great for quenching my thirst while working out. The scent room freshener was nice when you first entered the room. Loved it. You couldn't smell it after a minute.

The restaurant on the ground floor of the Hilton, that sold that great pasta that was the best Alfredo I have ever had in my life, was closed. The pasta was a major reason for returning. I forgot the name of the restaurant but I know it is not the one they call the Cafe. It was next to it. Maybe it was temporary closed. There was no sign. Went to Carl Jr's next door. Never been to a Karl Jr's before and what a disappointment. Only good thing was the star shaped nuggets. I should have tried the Hilton other restaurants. A proper menu on the tv would have helped me make up my mind. No writing paper in the room. Not sure if food can be ordered at those tables beside the pool. Fries and chicken wings would be good with a garbage bin near by.

Good location, right next to the airport. Convenient shuttle. Fine for a night prior to an early morning flight but nothing special.

Our first room stank of cigarette smoke, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. Fortunately we raised this with the staff and they quickly reallocated us a new room. Signage in the hotel is quite poor - was really difficult to find the pool and the guest laundromat. This was made even more difficult because they have those lifts that require you to choose a floor before you get in (i.e. we had to call the lift separately each time we tried to find the pool on a different floor!) Also the detergent dispenser in the laundry room was broken and stole our money... But again, the staff resolved this quickly and gave us some :-)
