The hotel is modern and clean, we had a room with two double beds and a sofa bed and it was spacious, clean and very confortable. The sofa bed was a bit difficult to do and undo. It would also be useful to have a microwave. The swimming pool was nice as well.

The neighbourhood was not what we excepted, there were some high traffic streets around and a big parking in front of the hotel. We needed to walk 10-15min to the beach or to the center with some shops and restaurants. We had breakfast included which was ok but if you are staying several nights it’s all the same every day. It would be good to include some healthier options to have some vegetable options and also propose water next to juice self service. The personnel of the restaurant was just ok.

Hilton Santa Monica had lots of different facilities and lovely service from the many staff members. We enjoyed going to the pool during the day and the little store they had on the main floor was very handy for getting snacks and drinks quickly. Breakfast was very good and I'm sure dinner also would have if we had went to eat there. Check in and out was very easy and this was genuinely one of the most comfortable rooms I've been in! A very nice stay!

Hardly anything could have been improved, maybe the location is a little inefficient, because it's around a 15 minute walk to the beach and the peer, although this really wasn't so bad.

The breakfast was great. Clean room. Big bathroom. Able to use the pool after checkout. Laundry facilities. Towels at the pool.

The breakfast staff asking for a tip when I served myself, the breakfast had already cost us $140 for 5 people, on top of the hotel room. There was no showers or restroom at the pool. You could use the gym toilet and sink, but dripping wet all-over the gym floor was a hazard. No showers for use after checkout and using the pool. We travelled home smelling of chlorine. The carpark is $50 per day. However, you can go in and out as many times as you like. (Tip. Use the car park across the road it cost $28 at most. $22 another day and only $8 from 9pm Friday evening until 3pm Saturday afternoon. However, you need to pay each time you leave and return)

The bedroom suite (& communal hotel areas) was modern and well decorated. Having the separate seating area made suite spacious. Swimming pool was a good size and great space after day exploring. Buffet breakfast which was included in room price was great. Staff friendly & helpful.

No view from the rooms - ours was of the highway. Aircon was a bit loud. It’s slightly out of main Santa Monica areas but it was fine for us and we didn’t mind the walk. A few blocks from the pier.

The house keeping person Damien The concierges Jesse and Fred. Some Reception staff didn’t really listen to requests and were generally unhelpful.

Being disturbed by house keeping nearly two hours BEFORE check out and with a Do not disturb sign on the door. So rude. Very noisy fridge (it disturbed our sleep on the first night) with no freezer compartment. No crockery or cutlery in the room two very small glasses only and no kitchen sink.

Great location, great staff and great breakfast/facilities! Very affordable for a family of 5 especially saving on breakfast costs for the 4 days we stayed.

One thing I would change is an option for a room with a bathtub instead of just a shower (for little kids to bathe). Also, the glass on the shower nearest to the on/off handle does not open so you either have to get in all the way and turn it on when you’re ready to shower or turn it on by leaning in from the far side and getting wet in doing so.

Renovated and clean rooms at a central location in Santa Monica, with a good breakfast. Staff was welcoming and the facilities seemed brand new. The room and bathroom were very clean. There is a small market in the lobby, with some groceries and souvenirs.

Parking is quite expensive, at $55/day... but I guess that is the price to pay in LA. My breakfast was included, but menu options seemed quite expensive as well.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Lobby, restaurant, lifts, corridors, rooms were all very good and clean. The staff were all helpful and full of advice regarding the local area and even explained about the Santa Monica shuttle service that helped us get around. The pool and the cabanas were fantastic and again, the area very clean.

Not a major complaint but the room was a little small for our family.................but to be honest we are used to that being 5 of us.

Location is great. Short walking distances to Santa Monica Pier and other places. Everything was perfect. The public parking garage on the other side of the street is a great alternative if you don‘t want to use the more expensive valet parking service

The accomodation fee they put extra on your room charge which can then be used to buy something in the small shop or in the restaurant.

Good location, walking distance to the beach and pier. Large room with a separate lounge with sofa bed. Nice pool and gym. We loved the light, airy feel of the hotel. Food was very good at breakfast and dinner, although quite expensive.

Parking charge seemed unnecessarily high. We later noticed that it is possible to park in the public car park across the street for less.
