The breakfast was great. Clean room. Big bathroom. Able to use the pool after checkout. Laundry facilities. Towels at the pool.

The breakfast staff asking for a tip when I served myself, the breakfast had already cost us $140 for 5 people, on top of the hotel room. There was no showers or restroom at the pool. You could use the gym toilet and sink, but dripping wet all-over the gym floor was a hazard. No showers for use after checkout and using the pool. We travelled home smelling of chlorine. The carpark is $50 per day. However, you can go in and out as many times as you like. (Tip. Use the car park across the road it cost $28 at most. $22 another day and only $8 from 9pm Friday evening until 3pm Saturday afternoon. However, you need to pay each time you leave and return)

The house keeping person Damien The concierges Jesse and Fred. Some Reception staff didn’t really listen to requests and were generally unhelpful.

Being disturbed by house keeping nearly two hours BEFORE check out and with a Do not disturb sign on the door. So rude. Very noisy fridge (it disturbed our sleep on the first night) with no freezer compartment. No crockery or cutlery in the room two very small glasses only and no kitchen sink.

Great location, great staff and great breakfast/facilities! Very affordable for a family of 5 especially saving on breakfast costs for the 4 days we stayed.

One thing I would change is an option for a room with a bathtub instead of just a shower (for little kids to bathe). Also, the glass on the shower nearest to the on/off handle does not open so you either have to get in all the way and turn it on when you’re ready to shower or turn it on by leaning in from the far side and getting wet in doing so.

Very clean, modern and a calming vibe about the hotel. Valet parking was great. Rooms were nice with very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was expensive. We didn't feel comfortable walking to the pier from the hotel in evening/night. Lots of homeless people around pier area. Would prefer to stay further north, away from pier.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Lobby, restaurant, lifts, corridors, rooms were all very good and clean. The staff were all helpful and full of advice regarding the local area and even explained about the Santa Monica shuttle service that helped us get around. The pool and the cabanas were fantastic and again, the area very clean.

Not a major complaint but the room was a little small for our family.................but to be honest we are used to that being 5 of us.

The room and interior design was good, i stayed in king suit - super nice and spacious, comfortable bed, cleaning service is perfect every day, very nice big bathroom and wardrobe space with huge mirrors on the walls - which is amazing - generally room is very good, little gym is very cosy , lobby is very cozy as well;

During check in and check out nobody helped me with luggages, didn’t even offer a help not to bring them upstairs to the room, not to upload or offload of the car - thats really bad; For breakfast paying for a buffet without coffee included in the price is sort of weird.. paying extra for coffee makes your breakfast quite pricey. Food range could be better - no vegetables or salads is little disappointing. Avocado only as an extra price. The noise of the street and highways - had to use earplugs at night.

Although I prepaid for the 3 day stay in advance, they charged my card with a deposit on arrival for charging things to our room. Whilst this is commonplace, we were a bit surprised to learned from another guest that it was a case of use it or loose it.

Very clean, comfortable and centrally located. Valet, bell desk staff were really friendly and hospitable.

The room is not very spacious and lacks a microwave, which would have been more convenient when traveling with young children. Additionally, getting a detailed invoice from the front desk at checkout was a hassle, as we had booked through Booking.com.

Close to everything and a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica centre.

A hidden extra of $100 each day is booked. Yes, that is right, not for the whole stay, for every day. You stay a week, and you will have $700 + tax held on your credit card. Be ready for that one because I was not! That should be in bold writing for guests to see.
