This historic building ...now a fun-luxury hotel...was amazing. Details details details!! We were recommended to stay at the Kimpton-Harper by good friends and they sure steered us right! Stephan (sp?) concierge I think, really helped us have the best experience possible. This was for my boyfriend's birthday....and my sister had delivered florals and sweet treats and balloons to go into the room before we arrive. Stephan called my phone and double checked the details as well as added a couple of awesome effects himself. The corner room with views that were spectacular really worked for us! At one point we could stand looking out from the 23rd floor, and seeing 2-3 firework displays going off in the distance. We ordered room service coffee and it came up quickly....pressed coffee. We WILL look at availability for the KH anytime we are in Ft. Worth again. We are also looking over the other "sister properties" to know as we travel this globe.

Let me begin....this is Texas. The land of BIG men. In the morning, these 2 fantastic robes were hanging in the closet. My boyfriend is tall and lean and the robe looked fantastic on him. I am 5'10" and about 275. The robe could no way wrap around a Texan like this. Even the robe rope would reach. I do own 4 robes in my home and they fit great at a 2XL. It was comical. Not comfortable...comical. Perhaps, to continue your reputation of customer care/service, when someone books the room inquire as to robe size preferred. We probably would stay more than one night. BTW- we were at the Lowes hotel the night before and their robes fit great and no problem.

My stay started with excellent valet service and an early check in. I arrived early for a conference and they had a room ready for me. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Upstairs bar was very nice but pricey. Location was perfect!

I was expecting a late check out which they do offer to IHG Rewards Members. I'm glad I double checked the morning I left. I had a meeting til noon and was planning on checking out at 2PM. However, when I went to the check in desk that morning to confirm I would be able to check out late, I was told that late checkouts must be requested in advance and they could not accommodate me. I had to rush back to my room and hurriedly pack all my stuff so I could check out before I left for my meeting which made me late. I hope I didn't leave anything behind in my haste.

Right in the center of downtown, good for strolling around. The rooms and the beds are comfortable.

We booked free breakfast option, but it is not a straight forward process to have it. The breakfast was good, but we had to claim back with the hotel front desk since the restaurant is a different entity. And even after reassurance of being taken cared of, you might still be charged, and it would take further dispute later. It was totally not worth it. I would not do it again.

The front desk team was very kind and helpful! We told them through our booking that this was our first night out as a couple after having kids, and they went above and beyond to make it a special night for us. They gave us a great room location and provided rose pedals within the room which was a wonderful surprise for the both of us. We will be back!

Clean and roomy

No coffee in the rooms. Couldn’t checkout on TV. Went downstairs to checkout and then was told I had to go to the 24 floor to do so. Spent way too much time on elevator.

beautiful room, loved the spacious bathroom with the separate tub and shower. The room was laid out very well and the extra touches with the robes, in-room mini bar and comfortable bedding makes it easy to NOT want to leave the room.

themostat in room would not allow cooling under 68 degrees nad it gets rather hot in Texas.

Valet parking was fast Cleaning staff was great, needed a few extra towels and things in suite and immediately handled Breakfast was good at the restaurant. Nice suite

No help offered on on bags, but person did hold door? Front desk had some issues on getting (6) rooms billed correctly. I had to call on following Friday to get a room credited back to card. Was overcharged. Bartenders "Miss V" has some attitude issues, Several guests were also complainin A couple in next door started having a knock down fight (screaming yelling, throwing stuff at walls) at 1:30 am, I ended up calling security before someone got hurt. Wild night.

Would have liked fresh bath towels every day, no notice or signage about daily housekeeping.
