The rooms were clean and the stay was comfortable. Extensive breakfast spread and has a South East Asian restaurant which was good. The bar at level 3 was too loud so went to the restaurant to have some cocktails!

There’s metro construction right outside the hotel which causes traffic and you might not get Ola or Uber during peak hours. The hotel did arrange cars but for a steep price. The complementary water bottles given are of glass and metal cap which doesn’t open half the time and one cap gave a deep cut on my finger when you force it to open! The spa was closed due to construction and so was the spa in another star hotel nearby, probably some government directions?

The stay was quite comfortable. We encountered no major issues during our 3 night stay. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The matttress and pillows were just to our satisfaction. We also experienced the buffet breakfast once during our stay here. It was an excellent spread with a wide varioety of items across continental and Indian cuisines, along with a live counter. The buffet breakfast is highly recommended.

We did encounter some irritants during our stay here. 1. The water bottles provided could not be opened easily. They require either a blade or a knife to cut open the cap. If you do not have any of these items with you, then your only option is to contacvt the front desk and wait for about 30 minutes to send you some water bottles that can be easily opened. This was most annoying, as you would expect to find some readily available drinking water when you enter your room after a long journey. 2. There were mosqitoes in the room. We had to request for a mosquito repellant which took some time to have it delivered. Since it was mosquito season, do not understand why they do not have a mosquito repellant device plugged in the room as standard accessory.

Staff are helpful, room service guy is very polite, whenever I request anything for my room they are responding in no time, my room size was ok, bed is comfortable with additional 1 sofa seater, many electric outlets for any devices you have.

I booked for breakfast only, I was not familiar with their food and most was local dishes, I kept turning here and there trying to read the names of the dishes but I could not guess the ingredients, unfortunately I was following low carb diet so I did not have much options .. I wish they will include various dishes from different countries, and write a note about the ingredients.

The location is great and the staff is friendly.

It's good for what we paid. Standards and consistency are slightly lower than other places I've been to in India. It's the small things - pictures aren't hung straight, the bottom of the mirror was messed up, at breakfast the staff wasn't consistent with their procedures and food temps weren't up to standards (unsafe). Also, I cut a deal with the manager on breakfast and the "system" he came up with was that I had to call down to the front desk before I went to breakfast each morning. Um, OK. So I did that. The staff had no idea why I was doing that. By the third time, the lady said I don't have to do it and it's noted on my account. Finally, a real system emerged that was simple.

I was there just after Christmas, so food was extraordinary. Buffet selection is truly amazing: meat, fish, traditional Indian food... But the best thing is definitely department with sweets from pastry chef (mango phirni, cakes and desserts). And service is very kind and professional (at reception Jadey and Rachel, and in the restaurant Ashtonsh). Recommendations

Nothing to complain

Didn’t eat breakfast. The hotel lobby is business like and pleasant. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel so didn’t see any of the facilities or amenities at all. I may stay at this property when I visit Chennai again.

The room carpet was dusty as though it had not been vacuumed carefully for sometime. And the floor of the bathroom also needs to be scrubbed better to remove the oil coating from it.

I booked smoking room without realising it and the room was extremely smelly. I requested the manager to change the room or clean the room once again by using room freshener. Manager changed the room immediately and i appreciate their quick action even though it was busy day.

I wish they would have cleaned the room properly and cross checked once with that smoke smell before handing it over to the customer

My score would have been 9, but unfortunately I faced an issue while using the washroom. The flush didn’t work. I called a couple of times and it was fixed.

Bed size...bathroom cleanliness, bathroom amenities, shampoo and soap...some of the staff are nice

The price for the service is not good...there is no microwave in the room and there is no garden in the hotel...and if you are late in leaving after one o’clock, you will pay a sum...also the room key must be renewed daily, but the staff are very helpful and kind...Long wait before check in

it was very clean, breakfast was delicious (best masala dosa), beds very comfortable

pool could not be fully used due to children’s swimming school occupying the whole pool most of the time. parents of kids in swimming class filmed the whole time (us as well!!) and occupied all sunbeds and removed our belongings on the sunbeds without asking. staff didn’t manage to bring and restock pool towels.
