Proximity to my hospital, where I underwent a comprehensive (all-day) checkup. Proximity to the international airport and free airport shuttle - the driver was already waiting for me 15 minutes to departure time and as I was only passenger, we left ahead of time and got to airport hassle-free and with plenty of time to spare. Thanks, Ibis! This was really important as even though I travel (a lot!), nerves still creep in somehow. I have found that a perfectly executed schedule always calms me down.

Nothing, really. I was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps I set the bar too low? I had just been to 3 5-star hotels in 2 different continents on the same trip before arriving at Ibis, so I think the bar was pretty high.

The breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety, from local options to English options, well cooked and delicious. The staff were also very nice, warm and professional, from the security men at the gate, to the receptionists, to the cleaners, to the guys to stood by the elevator, to the chefs and the whole buffet team, I genuinely think they all deserve a raise. I totally enjoyed my time at Ibis.

The room I was in wasnt as big as I expected 😔

Breakfast was fine and early enough , staff very smart & friendly . rooms nicely designed typical of ibis style . overall a fine cute place for short stay .

location a bit tight chocked parking space . rooms were tight but functional . need to keep room fittings properly maintained , little signs of wear and tear .

It is close to the airport and a good location for a transit stay. A good value for money. Good Nigerian-style breakfast

TV was not working in the room. No knob to the shower door. Although IBIS Red, room features are similar to IBIS BLUE.

In an excellent location, the food was fantastic, with many selections. The food hall was immaculate, had feel-good factors, and was welcoming. I would use it again.

The bathroom could do with better cleaning.

One of the restaurant male staff was dancing I was told there was no suite ( bedroom and sitting room) which I would require if I come on a business trip. This trip was a family trip. We had 2 rooms, the second was for my grown up daughter.

The staff were very courteous and pleasant. Location is the best you can have if you need to catch a domestic flight.

Can't think of any put-off

For the price and it's star rating it's okay for a short stay. I needed a place for one night at short notice and they had good availability. They do have a nice outdoor space which gets good sunlight though and a decent pool. I will say that it is probably one of the nicer ibis hotels compared to those in Europe. The pool is a definite bonus. If you need a budget chain hotel this place will serve you well.
