The hotel was very close to the port, roughly 10-15 min walk away. There were many parking areas close-by for when we rented a car, maybe 5 min away. The breakfast was amazing, they had a huge selection available. I also saw gluten free and lactose free items but as I don't need these myself then I can't say how big the selection for both was. The day before we had to leave we went to ask the reception about breakfast the next day as breakfast started at 6:30 but we had to leave a 6:15 and they said they offer takeaway breakfast as long as they know it before-hand (they also ask about allergies and food restrictions). We had no allergies and so we got a yogurt with muesli, boiled eggs with kaviar paste, water, apples. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they even gave us a map with recommended areas marked in Visby and on the overall island as they had asked if we'll be travelling around by car as well. We had done research on this before too but this was super helpful in finding other places we had missed as well. We loved the design of the room, the bathroom was especially cool. We had a limited view to the seaside and port, but the old city in the middle still looks good and overall it was very nice. Good for checking the weather too :)

Only issue we had was that the blanket was too warm for my partner, but we also didn't check with the reception if they'd have another option available so it might be completely on us :)

The location and the building(s) of the hotel are impressive. The staff is extremely friendly - thank you! I enjoyed the old-fashioned style of my room, which still included all the modern amenities. Even the slightly worn items in the room added charm in this context. However, this did not fully apply to the bathroom area, where I had mixed feelings. While it was clean and nothing was particularly bad, certain details were noticeable.

Unusual for this part of the world, there was no fish served at breakfast - or to be more precise, there was something, but it isn’t worth mentioning. That said, the breakfast overall was very good. Maybe a little care should be given to the bathroom.

Location, stunning settings and building, amazing pool, and nearly impeccable staff service who were friendly, kind, and helpful. Remarkable experience exceeding my expectations. Safe for a solo female traveller. For a nightcap, the gorgeous bar ( with mixology service ending at midnight but other alchool served until 2 AM) was very convenient. I simply cannot see myself coming back to Visby and not stay at the Clarion Wisby again. Hotel crush in Gotland!

Nothing major - I would encourage the hotel to offer connection to tour guides for the Rauk, complimentary kettle in each room, and breakfast ending at 10h30 ( 9h30 is a bit late when one wants to relax in the morning). A wringing machine in each changing room of the pool would be helpful.

I absolutely loved my stay in Clarion Wisby. My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you could wish for, with a super cozy bed! I particularly loved the breakfast spread in the mornings, and enjoyed using the pool and sauna at night. It was great to be in the centre of town, but still have a quiet and calm space to relax. I would very much recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit Visby!

Nothing, it was perfect!

The Clarion Hotel is a really nice hotel, very comfortable and spacious rooms. My husband and I stayed there for only one night but we enjoyed it a lot. We used the pool and the sauna, and they were very relaxing. Our room was also very clean. The restaurant and bar were also quite nice. We would love to go back one day.

I don't necessarily have anything that I didn't like. I guess my only criticism is that in the room some of the things were broken or very worn out.

The hotel is both near the port and very close to the old city. The room (with sea view) was comfortable, with good lightning. The breakfast was really good - lots of options. Inside pool was the best, so much fun for the family. Staff very helpful. And the bar, has good options and good music.

Parking space is limited, you have to book in advance (was not aware).

We've got early checkin. Room was exactly what we've asked (top floor sea view bath tub). Good quality wifi but not encrypted. Sound isolation excellent. room climate exellent. Front desk person drove us to airport with Visby town short of taxi, which is exceptional service.

Breakfast could be better quality wise. Medieval festival week stay price is insane. Not to the hotel but to town public transport: Despite airport is just 4 km off the town walls, Be prepared that first bus to/from airport is late in the morning. Check the schedule. The town is very short of taxi. So, you are on your own getting to/from airport.

I couldn't ask for anything better, everything from breakfast to start my day to the amazing location, met with my expectations ! A perfect blend of vintage & comfort!

Maybe a couple of thing I could think of: Having an adjustable spray for the shower, the pressure and temperature are great! The pool should be open from earlier than 1400 hours, for many, starting the day with a swim is most appreciated! And this is the first hotel I've come across that charges their resident guests, 12 Euro for using the swimming pool!

Perfect location, absolutely beautiful room, very friendly staff, great breakfast.

The room was not properly clean. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all, furniture in the room was very dusty, lots of dust under/behind the bed. A shame because it would have been perfect otherwise!

The breakfast was amazing! The location was perfect, close to everything in the main part of Visby and very close to the ferry.

Better direction for parking. Especially for people traveling from other countries. We were told that there was "parking behind the building" and "behind the library" with no map indicating where those areas are. I received a parking ticket for $130 because I misunderstood the signs. It would be an amazing service to provide information on parking for your guests.
