Breakfast choice excellent. Cooked well. Service good. Maid service in room good. Clean facilities. Receptionist polite and addressed and resolved most of the problems we had. Forgot extra security lock on door

No receipt given on leaving and I forgot to ask on return of keys. Situated between 2 main roads but not on main road. We are walkers so happy to walk the area. However would not be so keen for a single person. Would secure name and number of a taxi driver. Incase out late. Also gate by reception closed if return to room after 10pm. We should of had this explained at check in. We were out late and found this out at the time!

1. Claudette who works in the Mango Tree Restaurant, Altamont Court Hotel.. Claudette really made me feel welcomed. She is a very professional member of the restaurant team and a valuable asset. Also, Betheena, of the housekeeping team. 2. Security. I felt completly safe during my stay. 3. Full Jamaican breakfast. 4. Swimming pool. 5. Palm trees and plants in the courtyard. 6. Altamont Court Hotel, New Kingston, is a Jamaican owned family business.

1. I did not like that the gym was not available for use. However, this was due to refurbishment. 2. I did not like that there was no Lifeguard on duty at the pool. 3. I did not like that there was no fresh fruit available at breakfast. 4. I did not like that despite being shown the Dessert menu, desserts were not available. Only chocolate ice cream.

Location is perfect to visit everything you want in Kingston and it is safe even at night. Staff is very nice and helpful. Really clean, rooms are comfy and got everything you need (fridge, kettle, tea ..) Nice swimming pool. Free breakfast. The restaurant is really good and not expensive. Would definitely recommend and come back to it !

Careful when you book, not every room has a balcony ( clearly righted in description) and then you would have to go to the smoking area if you are a smoker. No hot water in the room but they advised us and apologized for it while checking in.

Great location. It was like an Oasis in New Kingston. It was nice to have a pool. Our room had a balcony and was clean and comfortable. The food was good especially the red pea soup. Most of the staff were accommodating and friendly, however there were a couple of servers in the restaurant who made us feel like an inconvenience to them. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and will return on our next visit to Kingston.

Two of the restaurant staff didn't give good service, they treated us like an inconvenience.

I went there for my spouse birthday. We stayed in the double room, which was nice. The food was great. Want to big up the staff, their customer service was wonderful. Special thanks to Tiara and company from the restaurant who helped to make my spouse's day an extra special by decorating a little area by the pool side for dinner and served us well.p

Check out time is too early. Personally, I think it could have been a little later than 11 am

The location was excellent, and the service from the reception all the way to the dining area was exceptionally friendly. Even the other guests staying at the hotel were warm and welcoming. The compound felt very safe, with room card access required to enter the gates leading to the rooms, which were located away from the entrance. The breakfast was delightful, and the entire staff was incredibly pleasant, always greeting us with smiles, which made the stay even more comforting.

There was truly nothing I could say we didn't like about the hotel or the staff.

I like the fact that there was ample parking for my car and they had a security personnel at the gate to let you in and out ( very secure place ) the lobby was very prestine the staff upon entering was very friendly my room was up to par clean and the bed was comfortable I ate at the restaurant on the premises and not only was the staff there was friendly but the food was great the room came with free breakfast which also was scrumptious very nice ambiance

The room was a little dark they could have it lit a little better and there was no microwave or coffee machine in the room just to compare with other places I have stayed I think those were necessary for the room and they gad a sign saying get your ice here but there were no ice machine

It was close to the event that we were going to.

Even though the hotel was next door to the hotel that the event was held, we had no access to the hotel next door; we thought we could walk across to the hotel but we couldn’t; we had to walk about 10-15 minutes to get there; that was the main reason we booked our stay here to get to the Pegasus. The bathroom needs exhaust fans for air in the bathroom, we had to open the bathroom window, which wasn’t safe. It’s 2024, property needs to upgrade to usb outlets in rooms and public spaces. eg lobby and dining room.

The staff I encountered were very friendly with superb customer service skills, they ensured that I was well taken care of and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back. The facility is centrally located, close to parks, shopping/banking centres and grocery stores. The food was good and the facility very clean. The place is well secured with security guard at the gate who lets you in, coupled with a swiping key card to access the suites; which means only persons that are supposed to be there are given access. The facility has spacious parking. I enjoyed support this local establishment. Thank you Altamont Court Hotel for an enjoyable stay.

I liked everything.

The receptionist was professional, informative and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The property was very quiet. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything needed was present in the room. My stay was great and it will be my go to place whenever I need to stay in Kingston. It was also easy to find via google maps.
