The reception staff was very helpful. It was Golden Week and the Carpark was full. She moved her own car to street parking and gave priority to me as a guest. The buffet breakfast was very good, it covers both Japanese and Western breakfast. Photograph attached. The room design is simple functional but well kept. I certainly will return to Kato Hotel whenever I come to Nagoya.

Location is away from central Nagoya, though a train station is 8 minutes walk away, it favors those driving.

The food was absolutely superb. Worth every penny. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean/ I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll definitely be back.

It was a little hard getting there by car, but that's Nagoya's traffic's fault not the hotel's. They were great.

Location was good, easy to find, very close to the train station and a nice restaurant called HARUBAR. Also very close to a supermarket. Staff were kind and friendly, lots of the notes and printed info had English as well. Food was great.

Japanese-style crunchy pillows and a doona fit for winter, in the middle of summer. Both seem to be a "Japan" thing as far as I can tell though. Nothing the AC couldn't handle, but kinda odd.

The hotel is definitely not for a family stay but there were no any problems with that.

good location, comfy beds, hot and powerful shower, staff were kind, buffet breakfast included. the staff kindly gave me two extra pillows that I requested.

room was a little bit small, but overall not an issue. the noise from the train tracks were quite noisy but that isn’t any fault of the hotel. it didn’t disrupt my sleep though.
